Go here (using a laptop or desktop or even your iPod)

https://appleid.apple.com/us/

Once there, you will see *manage your Apple ID* > reset your password. Click on *reset your password* and follow the instructions.

My ipod is disabled because I forgot the password and when I connect to itunes to restore it, it tells me that ther is an error. How do I fix this?

go to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 here you have instructions for manually restoring resetting your touch
You can unlock your IPOD Touch passcode or password by following these simple steps.
  • Connect your IPOD Touch to iTunes
  • Press or Hold the power and home keys 10 seconds.
  • Screen goes black, now release the power button
  • Make sure you do not release the Home key until your iTunes says "We have detected an itouch in recovery mode."
  • After this its simple all you got to do is a simple restore using your iTunes

MY IPOD IS DISABLED BECAUSE I FORGOT THE PASSWORD AND IT SAYS IPOD DISABLED CONNECT TO ITUNES WHEN I CONECT TO ITUNES IT SAYS ENTER PASSWORD HOW CAN I ENTER THE PASSWORD IF I FORGOT IT!!! I NEED HELP:(

Step 1: Turn on your computer, and connect your iPod to your computer with the USB cable that came with your iPod.

Step 2: Open up iTunes on your computer.

Step 3: In iTunes, go to the left side of your screen and scroll down, when you see your iPod, select it.

Step 4: You should now see on the right side of your screen some general iPod information. Scroll down to until you see a "Restore" button. This will erase everything that was on the iPod, and sync whatever is in your iTunes library. It is the only known way.

Forgot my ipod touch password and now its disabled

Connect to iTunes, go to the settings menu of your iPod (click on the picture of your ipod on the bar on the side.) Then click "restore my ipod's settings," or something similar to that. You will have to re-sync your ipod, but your password will be removed. hope it helps

Ipod touch disabled

Try turning off your ipod, holding the home button, and plugging it in, while still holding the home button, until a picture of the ipod cable appears pointing to the itunes symbol. this will reset you ipod, and you don't need the passcode to make it usable again.
