SOURCE: Bosch tankless GWH 1600 H NG won't always ignite

The manual says to hold a match near the pilot while the ignitor is trying. It says that if the unit lights the pilot orifice may be dirty or clogged. Then the manual says to check the voltage on the igniter. It should be 1.3 volts DC minimum if it is not means the electronic control box is defective.

Let me know the status ...Kevin

SOURCE: I cant' get a flow of gas through the regulator.

Sorry, brother, your regulator is dead. You need to replace it. Lowe's/HomeDepot/Similar sell replacements, Not hard to swap out, Low cost.

SOURCE: Full tank of gas and getting low fuel indicator on dash

Bad fuel level sensor. Unfortunately it is located inside the gas tank. Fairly common problem on GM's. Due to sulphur in fuel. Corrodes the sensor tabs. Expensive to have repalced and NOT a do-it-yourself project, unless you have dropped a tank before.

SOURCE: Blower not running at high

Try removing the muffler and look inside of the exaust port, you should be able to see the piston in the full opening of the port. If you can, try starting and running at wide open throttle. If it runs fine( a bit loud, so wear hering protection), then you have a plugged or partialy blocked muffler or spark arestor. Sometimes rich mixture can cause excessive carbon build up.

Hope this was helpfull.

Car has been sitting Need to run.

The old gas will cause hard starting for sure as it is 15 years old but if you don't have very much in the tank you can mix in some new gas.

I'm sure any small engine shop will gladly accept your money to fix this. But first, check to see if the fuel shut off valve is off. You didn't mention the brand or model tractor (more than one type was made!) so I can't tell you exactly where you'll find it - but it will be between the fuel tank and carburetor either "inline" on the fuel line itself or as part of the fuel tank at the point the fuel line connects to the tank. Then drain all the fuel out of the tank. Shine a flashlight into the tank to make sure there is no debris clogging the fuel outlet of the tank - clean as needed and replace with FRESH fuel. You can add the old fuel to your car's tank when nearly full so that you won't have to find a place to dispose of it. You may also need to clean or replace the spark plug, too. if you're unable to to these things, have a look at these repair shops linked below:

Toro ride on wont start

Battery required? Charge battery or replace. Replace air filter and spark plug. Dump out old oil and replace with 30w oil. Electric start may have a fuse blown. Dump out old gas fill with new with Stabile always added to gas. Try spraying starter spray in carb at air cleaner with filter removed. All mowers have a low oil sensor to prevent starting on low oil. Remove bowl from carb, should be full of gas. Pinch off fuel line with pliers or turn fuel valve off. Check float should be hanging down allowing fuel flow. Float up stops fuel flow.

Hi,
You have to check and replace the spark plugs, ignition( if there is still sparks coming out ), and replace fuel fitler( drain also the fuel line of old petrol ).
You need a good technician to restart and tune it up!
Hope that helps you out.
Thanks for asking FixYa!

My generator won't start. I started it when I first got it about a year ago. It's been in my garage for about a year.

Remove and clean/check/replace the spark plug first, spray some WD-40 in the cylinder, Remove all old fuel and just fill with enough fuel to run it. If you are comfortable removing the carb then it should be dipped/cleaned. Check to ensure the kill switch is not engaged/unplugged. Lemmee know then we can go further!

So, it turns over, gets spark and gas, but won't start?

Have you tried to put fresh gas in the tank or fresh gas directly into the throttle body?

If it starts, then you know the old gas is no good.
