The old rule of thumb is you need 400 cfm's per ton.

CFM is air flow, a product of fan size and speed and duct size, opening sizes etc.. The tonnage of the unit has no bearing on airflow.

Convert scfm to cfm? my compressor puts out 4.9 scfm at 90psi; 7 scfm at 40 psi so how many cfm at 23 psi?

Hard to give an exact number, however, as pressure and temp of air increases, the scfm drops as you see in your numbers. With low pressure such as 0 thru 25 the temp of the air is also low/nominal thus the scfm will be very close to the actual cfm listed for the compressor pump.

Payne air handler with possible GE X13 Failure

Check your dip switch settings on tonnage and your CFM per ton settings. Also make sure they wired the the low voltage for cooling to Y and not YLO if its a single stage compressor system.

Where is the headphone socket on a LT24M3

This is a link to the manual.http://www.haier.com/admin/en/product/upload/LT24M3-UM.pdf
On P.08 it shows the input and outputs. This television does not have a headphone jack. It has a digital audio output which is the SPDIF output.
To use headphones with the television you would need to get a digital to analog converter. Something similar to what is shown here: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=180-998
You would also need a digital audio cable (SPDIF cable). They are about $15-$30 depending on where you get it and the brand.
You would connect the SPDIF cable to the television output and the digital to analog converter box (DAC), and connect the headphones to the DAC box.

12000 BTU is 1 ton
300 - 350 CFM in 1 ton depends on mfg.
Cfm and Tonnage of Refrigerent is are different units, then how these two units can be compared

Cfm means air flow per cubic meter per hour.

I have a Goodman CPLJ24-1B condenser unit & am needing to know what tonnage it is guessing 2 tons? Would this be big enough for 2000 sq ft of floor space? Block building with no wall insulation.

Yes, it is a 2ton unit and no, it's definitely not big enough. You need 1 cfm per square foot. That's 2000 cfm. 1 ton of air is equal to 400cfm. So you would actually need around a 5 ton unit to comfortably do a 2000sq ft building. Insulation, doors, windows, and other sources of heat load all factor in, but this is the standard formula. Hope this helps!

What ton is good man ckl 49 il where is the model number onthe furnace

ok ready for this? To find the tonnage look at the serial # Tonnage is related to 12's If there, on the serial # there is say 0062490 the tonnage is 24 or two tons 24 divided by 12 equals 2 Say the serial # contains 0063090 then the tonnage is 2 1/2 because of the 30 hopefully you see what I am saying the number in the serial # if it can be divided by 12 or 6 this is the tonnage. If you will send me the serial number I will tell you the tonnage. The serial number is on the outside unit at the copper connections where the electrical lines go in.

Good luck on your repairs hope this helped send me a note online here and if you need I will give you tonnage if you send the model # and serial number with your response> I will check online around 1500 hours on 1/9/10 central time. Remember to look for the numbers that are divisible by either 12 or 6 on the serial number

How to determine tonnage on a unit

generally 12,000 btu output is one ton, 24,000 is two tons, etc.

Need to verify tonnage of unit

In almost every case, most manufacturers put the tonnage in the model number. Look for something that is divisible by either 6 or 12. Something like, 24, 30, 36, and so on. Cfm has to match the tonnage. Usually in the neighborhood of 450 cfm per 12,000 btu's of cooling for the inside of the structure.

Hope this helps.
