I locked myself out my phone

You can perform a factory data reset if you're in a bind. Look up instructions on how to do a factory data reset or a "hard reset" for your specific phone model (example, LG G2) on Google.

I have a trio stealth tablet and i locked myself out by fogetting the password, ive tried to factory reset it by holding down power button and volune up buttkn till boot menu comes up but it never gets...

Restart the device and power it on while holding the power button and volume down until the boot screen clears, keep holding the volume down key as this will allow you to get to the root settings and wipe/cache partion resets and delete user install data. :-)

Hi. I bought my tablet while on holiday in Brisbane in February but I've totally locked myself out. Its the Bauhn AT-HK97. any help would be good. Not bothered with the need to save anything as the photos...

You will need to perform a factory/hard reset of the device.

1. Turn off your tablet
2. Press and hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power button
3. When the screen show up, release all buttons
4. Using Volume buttons select "wipe data/factory reset"
5. Select "Yes -- delete all user data"
* Allow several minutes for the factory data reset process to complete.
6. Select "reboot system now"
* Allow several minutes for the reboot process to complete.

Please let me know if that works. Thanks!

Locked out of tablet

You need to reset it and all data will be lost

To reset...

1. Press the power button and both volume keys for several seconds. Continue to hold until you see the Android recovery logo and the large Start selection at the top of the screen.

2. Move the volume keys up and down to see the menu selections. The power key will select the option.

3. To factory reset and wipe the device, select Recovery Mode.

4. When you see the Android with red triangle, hold the power button down and press the volume up key until the wipe data/factory reset option appears. Press the power button to select it. Remember that this will erase all the data on your device.

5. With the volume keys select Yes - erase all user data and again press the power button to select this option.

I locked myself out of my tablet

You'll need to do a factory reset:
1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.

This will reset you device to factory settings, however anything on your SD card will still remain.
At this point you will need to start fresh as if you just bought the device -- register with your email address, etc.

Locked myself out and forgot my password to my phone

Go to Start, Settings, More, More, More, Key Lock, and change the setting to "Do not lock device when idle." Hope that helps. Otherwise, I don't know how to do this other than taking into the Verizon store, but you may have to reset to factory settings, and that will delete all your settings.
