You use Z reports. There are many different codes for Z reports depending upon the data you need to reset. The only thing you cant reset is the grand total which prevents fraud. Check the codes in your book. If you need manuals, one of the users has them here:

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You most likely have dirt in the validation sensor. Try blowing out the printer area with a can of air.

Make sure you are using the text layout in the manual if the text is not inputting correctly. Also, don't forget to use the double zero button when changing between text input and placement to the keyboard.
