Why won't my afterglow controller function properly?
I recently went on a trip and purchased an afterglow AX.1 360 controller. I expected it to work properly. Unfortunately that was not the case. I arrive home and plug it in to the USB port on the front of my 360 slim. The controller lights up, but no activity occurs. The console doesn't recognize the controller, and vice versa. Not activity on the home button at all.
I then try the same with my PC, to no avail. I have tried unplugging and replugging, disconnecting it at the cord break, and nothing works. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

not sure its possible. tattiebogle will help assign the buttons. check under about this mac and locate the controller under the USB setting. if it is listed it is recognized. I set up a similar controller on 10.8.4
Did you try plugging it in to another USB port? This sounds like a problem with the USB cable of your controller or the USB port on your PC. Try bending the cable near the plug etc. and see if it makes any difference. If not you'll be better off buying a new controller unless its still under warranty.
If by not syncing you mean it flashes the whole ring when you plug the controller in the USB and won't identify? If so I think the problem may be that you have other USB devices plugged in at the same time. Unplug all the USB and plug the controller in by itself. I've had issues with this for awhile myself. I had a bluetooth and another wireless kb/mouse. So I unplugged everything tried it by itself and it seems to identify perfectly.
Conclusion: Unplug all the USB devices and plug the Afterglow 360 controller by itself and that should solve the problem. =)
No it can not.
You have a couple of actuators that have gone out. The driver temp control. And the air inlet actuator.
And I don't fallow your statment of "my a/c blower went completely out. I tested the blower and it works fine".
If the blower went out, then what do you mean it works fine? Are you talking about air delivery or it just quits blowing all together?
