Hi,

On this model I will give you both gasket numbers as you didn't specify which one you needed. Freezer door part number 7010574, Refer Door 7010584. I verified that these numbers will match your serial number as you left it for me. I hope this helps you, good luck

Looking for part #s for all door gaskets

Barry,

We specialize in cooler gaskets. We are a great resource for OEM quality gaskets. We can ID the exact gasket you need for your model MT66 if you can also provide the serial # of your unit. Without the serial # I can point you in the right direction but I can identify the right gasket with both model and serial! - http://www.coolergaskets.com/beverage-air-side-gasket-52-1-8/

As for the wiper gasket your unit needs - we can also locate that for you too. We don't stock them but we can get your price and availability and sell them below the OEM list price.

We also offer custom gasket options if you have any older units that don't have model or serial available.

Hope to help you soon,
Matt

Need to replace door gaskets

Emmie,

There are two gasket options for that model! If you have your unit's serial # we can ID the exact gasket you need. Replacing your gasket is a simple process and it looks that your gasket is a simple snap in option. Here's option1 http://www.coolergaskets.com/turbo-air-gasket-25-1-2-x-53-1-4-1/ & Here's option 2 http://www.coolergaskets.com/turbo-air-gasket-25-1-4-x-53-1-4/

It looks like both gasket options are made out of the same profile material but the dimensions changed per when the unit was manufactured. Double check your existing gasket's dimensions to determine which option is the best for you. Or shoot us an email or give us a call with your Model and Serial # and we can narrow it down for you.

Side by side refrigerator. Model: MC2125PALS Serial: 391042BL200038Z Date of Purchase: 06/08/06 Comments: Fridge fan ices up at back.Mechanical check was OK,

What you will need to do on something like this is look for warm air getting inside the box. Check the door gaskets & make sure they are sealing correctly. You will usually find the refrigerator door gasket tearing or pulling away at the bottom of the door. This is hard to see unless you get down on the floor & inspect the lower part of the gasket.

The freezer door will seem to shut but not stick. The open door alarm for the freezer doesn't work.

First, the door gasket needs to be replaced. That shouild take care of the not shutting properly problem. Contact your manufacturer, or your local appliance parts warehouse for the gasket purchase. You will need to have the brand, model # and serial # ready.

For the alarm, if you want it to work you will need to determine if it is the sensing mechanism or the alarm itself. If you aquired the unit used, it is possible that someone simply disconnected the alarm because it annoyed them and they did'nt want to fix the gasket problem.

Hello,
You may wish to contact the folks at RepairClinic.com. They have a large selection or repair and replacement parts at a fair cost. You'll need to know your brand name, model #, serial #, and the approximate age of the appliance.

Water leaks out of the bottom area of the door

There is a ring that holds the door gasket in place on the outside of the front panel and another ring inside the drum (the ring has a spring on it that allows it to be stretched.

There are 2 tools that LG has that make the ring clamp easy to install/remove, but you can also use 2 pair or needle nose pliers (one to hold the ring at the spring and another to stretch the ring). Just be careful not to damage the gasket.

Also, when ordering the new door gasket, make sure you have your serial number handy. There are 2 versions of the door gasket (depending on the serial number).

Hope this helps, please rate my solution.
