I have a Whirlpool Cabrio dryer. The door gasket is partially coming off. Can I use any adhesive to "glue" it back on? I am concerned about toxins being emitted from the heat. Thank you.

No most glues are flammable try some duct tape, small piece or you can get the tape they use on heating vents it looks like aluminum foil and is very sticky

3 door maytag refrigerator - bottom door is stuck on one side and will not open.

Accumulation of gunk or even ice on the door gasket can act as a glue between the door gasket and the front edge of the unit. Try using a rag, soaked in hot water and wipe the side of the gasket to try and loosen the gunk or ice.

Door Gasket keeps coming loose on Frigidaire FGHD2433KF. How Do I keep it in? Glue?

Good Morning friend, thanks for your post!

From the information you have provided the door gasket on your Frigidaire dishwasher continues to come loose. Typically, when your gasket starts coming out you may need to have a replacement gasket installed. I would recommend operating the gasket you need from your manufacturer and replacing it. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Whirlpool Front Loading Door leaking water

The most common cause for a front loading washer to leak from the front door is a torn or detached gasket where that gasket attached to the machine.
Open the door and begin to pull the gasket away from the opening. Look for any problems. If you find a place where the gasket is not firmly secured to the opening, you can list that area up and glue (even with super glue) the gasket back down to the metal opening.
If you find gasket damage, it will need to be replaced.

I hve to replace a gasket on a refrig door i have the part but it doesnt have any adhesive do i need a glue or heat it in place id also like to know the best way to remove the current gasket which seems to...

Normal fitting for a door gasket is plastic pop buttons which go through the edge of the liner then through the gasket and into pre-drilled holes in the fridge door.

Some older uinit has stainless steel self tappers doing the same job.

You will probably find that if you place a normal dinner knife under the current gasket between it and the door you will be able to prise the thing off

Make sure that you are not too heavy handed about it in case you snap the buttons off

Water is leaking at bottom of door. how do i replace washer

Your local applaince parts store will have the door gasket and the special glue. Sometimes you don't need the glue, but I would get it to be safe. EASY job.

BMW door seal?

make sure you have the new one on hand also the glue you can pick up the glue at a local autoparts store. Now lay the new door seal out in the sun while you are taking the out one off so that its warm and stretches easy, once the old one is off clean the railing that holds the gasket with rubbing alcohol on a rag, then apply the glue as you put on the gasket
