Question about Vacuums
Start be replacing the belt and making sure the brush roll turns freely.
Posted on Apr 07, 2015
Hi!, This is Jim with Crucial Vacuum,
Try manually rotating your brush roll to help uncover any hidden debris. Also do this to see if the brush roll can turn freely and that there is no resistance. Take note of the brush rolls bristles. If they are worn down or loose it's time to replace your brush roll.
Next check your vacuums belt. After regular usage your vacuums belt will stretch out, lessening the tension on your brush roll. Lesser tension leads to lack of suction and movement from your brush roll. Your vacuums belt should be replaced about every 3 months.
