Question about Heating & Cooling

Usually, there is a delay timer in the thermostat system to prevent overloading compressor by multiple on-off by changing thermostat settings or power failure and back on. If that delay timer is bypassed, it will shorten the life of the compressor. If the delay timer is not functioning properly usually it will stop any start of the compressor and you will need a ACND technician to replace it.
