To reset it to factory settings, you should enter its service mode option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
NB: Please read and understand well, the instructions to enter the service mode, before you begin. Be very careful. Note how to "EXIT" the service mode; after entering and adjusting data. This is very important.

The settings mode should have a reset to factory setting for the channels. If you still have the manual it will show you how to get there, if not go online and pullup the manufacturer and get by the model number.

I have an Olin HVBT-4100S Set Top Decoder.

Try doing a factory reset on it to reload the software and channels. This is from a different Olin model, but is worth a try.

Restore Factory Defaults

*WARNING* Restoring Factory Defaults will remove all saved channel information and settings.

All Scheduled recordings will be deleted. Please use with care.

Press the OK button to begin and then enter the password.
Press the OK button to confirm.

OR press the EXIT button to return to the previous screen without Restoring Defaults.

Another possibility is that you have inadvertently set it to show HD Channels only instead of All Channels. You could try disconnecting from the mains supply for 5 minutes and plug it back in, a SOFT Reset. More here

How do i reset my wii to factory settings

Format (Erase) Wii System Memory This option is used to delete ALL Channels and ALL save data that have been added to the Wii console and will wipe the system memory clean, as it was when purchased new. Please note that if you also have a Wii Shop Account, that data should be deleted first (click here for instructions).
To delete ALL Channels and save data
  1. Access the Wii System Settings screen (how to).
  2. Click on the left blue arrow twice to reach the Wii System Settings 3 menu options.
  3. Select "Format Wii System Memory."
  4. settingsformat.gif
  5. If Parental Controls are set, enter the PIN.
  6. If you are sure you want to erase the Wii console's system memory, select "Format."

I have no 'input selection' on my Sharp HDTV 37", model LC37DW99U

On your menu, go to the channel settings. Go to add/delete channel. You will have to add this channel manualy. The tv might have went into autoprogram mode and deleted it.

Just trying to restore back to factory settings

take a genuine microsoft windows xp / vista install disc and put it in the drive. Reboot the system and boot off the cd. The windows setup will start. Delete the existing partition using the wizard, then install windows to the blank area.

Everything on the laptop will be wiped out, replaced by a blank installation of windows xp / vista.

If you don't have one, you'll have to buy or find a copy.
