Question about Samsung Galaxy S III S3 16GB Verizon
About a week ago my son was playing games on my phone like he usually does but this time the next day my phone started acting funny while im in the middle of the text or online my screen goes black then it automatically goes back to the lock screen.
Sounds like a virus type of thing. If your son downloaded a game you need to uninstall that game and then you need to run a virus type scan to remove any thing that is left behind from that game.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

what you can do is do a hard reset of the phone press *2767*3855# this will reset the phone as if you just purchase it from the store...this should correct the issue

SOURCE: Phone died
Alright, got the solution. All you neeed to do is use a small pin to press and hold the RESET button (it's on the side) for about 5-10 seconds. Then press the END button to turn it on, and it should work.

SOURCE: broken screen and text messages
I broke my screen too and this is what i did to read them:
my friend has the same menu as me (both verizon users) and so held his phone in one hand and my broken on in the other. then what ever i did on his phone i did with my phone.
I basically went into my inbox (blindly basically) and individually forwarded the messages to his phone...after i read them, i replied in the same manner using my phone.
Its kind of alot of work, its worth it and it gets the job done...I could read my texts!
Hope this works

SOURCE: Samsung T239 turning itself off
master reset is best. take the battery out. look for a little white sticker onside the phone. if the stick is white call t-mobile. if the stick is not white you will need to replace the device
