Question about Honda EU3000iS Inverter Generator

Generator is using oil and blowing white smoke. How do I find the vent that is plugged?

Blowing white smoke and oil out the exhaust. I think it is a vent that is plugged but cannot find it. Also getting a little oil into the air filter.

I don't know of any other "vent" in that engine other than the breather tube that goes from the head cover to the air cleaner. If there is excessive oil being sucked through that and in through the carburetor, I guess I would wonder about compression getting past the rings causing excessive crankcase pressure. The only other way for oil to get into the combustion chamber and into the exhaust would be through the valve guides. Of them, the exhaust valve guide is generally the one that wears first.

If it is black smoke, it could be running rich and the correct carb will fix that. If it is blue smoke, then it is burning oil.

Mazda 6 1.8 ts 05 constant blue white smoke out of exhaust

It probably has some internal engine damage. If you pull the spark plugs one or more will probably be oil fouled.
You may want to have a compression test done and see if you can find the source of the oil - may be a head gasket.

I am blowing oil out of the vent from the valve cover on a 70's 6040. Any answers to this problem?

This is called blow-by. Start with compression test to find out is rings are ok. Need more information like gas diesel, model number of engine. So here is a general run down. Compression is getting into crank case. Several things can cause this. Possible causes are bad valve guides, rings, head gasket valve stem seals. Compression test will tell if low cylinder. If this is ok for your year model look to valve stem seals. If two cylinders next to each other low. Possible head gasket leak. Use compressed air 60-90 psi and listen were air is going. If blowing into crank case or intake exhaust manifolds. If crank case rings if not valves. I am going to assume your engine is burning oil or using more then normal. Possible white smoke from exhaust. If this is the case and compression is good valve stem seals should fix it. Hope this helps. Remember when compressing cylinders have both valves closed on top dead cylinder.

My Toyota Corolla XL 1996 model is belching heavy white smoke. I have just changed the oil and also the spark plug. What do you think is the problem?

white smoke usually indicates the engine is burning oil or its burning coolant. when the engine is cold remove the radiator cap and start the vehicle, if it immediately begins to blow air and or coolant from the radiator you most likely have a blown head gasket, if not then remove the oil cap and feel for air coming out. if it blows kinda like a hair dryer then you most likely have a piston ring issue and you are burning oil. either way you may be looking at major surgery to repair.

White smoke blowing out the exhaust and oil consumtion on r.cyl.

Its most likely your rings. They get worn and start letting oil into the combustion chamber. They aren't extremely hard to replace.
