All Ge washers should have a wiring diagram inside the control panel on the left side if standing in front of the machine. Hopefully it wasn't removed by someone.

Had to replace new pressure switch on a karcher k6.50 pressure washer ,but I forgot which wire goes to which terminals.


if its two wire it shouldnt matter... if it's multi wire then you are going to need a proper wiring diagram from them

I need a gmc safari diagram for fuel pump 1991


I don't usually do diagrams due to copyright laws.
From the fuel pump you have a gray wire and a black wire.
The black is ground and the gray is power from both the pump relay and the oil pressure switch.
The oil pressure switch provides power to the pump once the engine starts.
At the relay, you have a green and white wire that provides power from the ECM with the key switch on. You have an orange wire that provides power from a 15amp fuse.
The gray wire going to the pump, and a black and white wire for ground for the relay.
The ECM provides power for 3 seconds when the key switch is turned on to boost line pressure for startup.

I have a paragon 8145-20 defrost timer. do you wire the compressor to the timer? I cant seem to find a wiring diagram on how to wire this correctly

I am not expert installing defrost timers.
According to information from Paragon, 8145 is for hot gas defrosting. 8140 series are time initiated, and pressure-or-temperature terminated.
Wiring diagram does not show compressor wired to timer.

The cycle works like this:
Timer is running but defrost is not switched ON.
Fan is ON.
Timer switches ON and activates defrost cycle.
Fan turns OFF. Hot gas valve turns ON for defrosting.
Cycle limit switch is temperature or pressure sensitive.
Cycle limit switch reaches trip point, timer switches OFF.
Hot gas valve turns OFF. Fan turns ON.
So fan is off during defrost cycle.
Hot gas valve turns ON when timer switches ON.
Timer is switched OFF by pressure-or-temperature limit switch.

How do you change pressure switch on this model??? Service tech is looking to charge 80 dollars for part and 40 for labor.


Hi.

Replacing the water level pressure switch is not a difficult operation. Here guidelines.

  • Disconnect the washer from power. Either unplug the power cord or trip the circuit breaker.
  • Pull out the appliance and place it in a space where you can work.
  • Disconnect the water hoses .located at the back of the appliance
  • Remove the four screws that hold the top panel to the body of the machine and pull up the top panel. Be careful while lifting the top panel, its edges are sharp and you may get harmed.
  • Disconnect connector from the water level pressure switch. Disconnect also the connectors hooked to the water valve solenoid contacts if necessary to access the water level pressure switch.Always mark the connections with tape and labels or take a picture before disconnecting the wires. The pressure switch has only a two wires connector attached, and wires orientation does not matter, but get used to note down all disconnected wires.
  • Remove the clamp holding the hose and disconnect the vacuum hose from the water level switch.
  • To remove the pressure switch, push down the metal tab on the rear panel plate and rotate the old switch until it gets loose.
  • Install the new water level pressure switch by following operations in reverse order. Ensure that all hoses are well connected, and that all wiring connectors are in place.
Replacing the water pressure switch is not a difficult operation, however remember to observe strictly all safety prescriptions.
Before replacing the switch you can try blowing into the vacuum hose attached to the pressure switch, this sometimes can fix an apparently faulty pressure switch.

Before replacing the switch this can be tested either jumping its contacts, or using a multimeter to read Ohms on switch contacts, and check if the switch is opening and closing the contact. With no pressure applied to vacuum hose the switch must have continuity and low impedance, otherwise the switch is faulty.

The water pressure switch is part nr. ten on the diagram shown below. Click on the picture to enlarge the diagram:

Your question is a bit unclear, but I assume you are asking how to wire the pressure switch in a piston compressor.

See the diagram, below.

You should have a wire from the L1 (first incoming main voltage) terminal to the pressure switch, and from the other pressure switch terminal back to the starter coil. You will also have a wire from L2 (second main voltage terminal) to the overload, and from the other overload terminal to the other side of the coil. In this arrangement, the motor starter coil must be rated at the SAME VOLTAGE as your incoming power.

This diagram works the same for single phase machines (they just don't have the third wire coming from the supply through the starter and overload to the motor.

If your machine has other safety controls (like a low oil switch), It can be wired in series with either the pressure switch or the overload.

Your question is a bit unclear, but I assume you are asking how to wire the pressure switch in a piston compressor.

Does not fill with water. There are 3 wires to the water level control it is getting power to the brown wire but not to the pink wire. The best I can tell it is not actuating the water control solinoids....


Find the wiring diagram, it sounds like you have power to the pressure switch and none coming out. you need to look at the wiring diagram and determine which color wire runs to the water valve.

Now be very careful and check for power out of the pressure switch, with the timer on at the beginning of the wash cycle where the machine would fill with water, if you have power coming from the pressure switch you could have a bad mixing valve.

Is the water turned on for both the Hot and Cold supply?

If you select cold does the machine fill, with cold? also check warm, and Hot. if the macine fills with any water the pressure switch is not you problem. It could be the mixing valve.

DTC P1259: VTEC SYSTEM MALFUNCTION
1. Perform PCM reset procedure. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. Start engine
and run at 3000 RPM with no loads and transmission in Park or Neutral until radiator fan comes on. Road
test vehicle. Accelerate in 1st gear to an engine speed over 4000 RPM and hold that engine speed for at
least 2 seconds. If DTC P1259 is not indicated during first road test, repeat road test 2 more times. If DTC
P1259 is indicated, go to next step. If DTC P1259 is not indicated, problem is intermittent. System is
okay at this time. Check for poor connections or loose wires at VTEC solenoid valve connector and PCM.
See ENGINE PERFORMANCE WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Repair as necessary.
2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect VTEC pressure switch 2-pin connector. Check for continuity between
VTEC pressure switch terminals. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace
VTEC pressure switch.
3. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and VTEC pressure switch harness connector terminal
No. 2 (Blue/Black wire). If about 12 volts exist, go to next step. If about 12 volts do not exist, check for
an open or short in Blue/Black wire between VTEC pressure switch and PCM 31-pin connector "C"
terminal No. 10. Repair as necessary. If wire is okay, substitute a known-good PCM and recheck. See
SUBSTITUTING PCM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. If symptom or problem
goes away, replace original PCM.
4. Measure voltage between VTEC pressure switch harness connector terminals. If battery voltage exists, go
to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Brown/Black wire between VTEC pressure
switch and ground connector located on left side of engine, under throttle plate, between end of radiator
hose and cooling fan switch. See ENGINE PERFORMANCE WIRING DIAGRAMS article. If wire is
okay , substitute a known-good PCM and recheck. See SUBSTITUTING PCM in SELFDIAGNOSTICS
- INTRODUCTION article. If symptom or problem goes away, replace original PCM.
5. Turn ignition off. Disconnect VTEC solenoid valve connector. Measure resistance between ground and
VTEC solenoid valve connector. See ENGINE PERFORMANCE WIRING DIAGRAMS article. If
resistance is 14-30 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not 14-30 ohms, replace VTEC solenoid valve.
6. Remove VTEC pressure switch and install Pressure Gauge Adaptor (07NAJ-P07010A) and A/T Low
Pressure Gauge (07406-0070300). Reinstall VTEC pressure switch into adaptor. Connect tachometer.
Start engine and with no loads and transmission in Park or Neutral until radiator fan comes on. Because
engine is running with no load, oil pressure must be checked within one minute. Check oil pressure at
engine speeds of 1000, 2000 and 3000 RPM. If oil pressure is less than 7 psi (48 kPa), go to next step. If
oil pressure is 7 psi (48 kPa) or more, check VTEC solenoid valve. See SYSTEM & COMPONENT
TESTING article.
7. Turn ignition off. Disconnect VTEC solenoid valve connector. Connect a fused jumper wire between
battery voltage and VTEC solenoid valve connector. Start engine and check oil pressure at 3000 RPM. If
oil pressure is more than 57 psi (393 kPa), go to next step. If oil pressure is 57 psi (393 kPa) or less,
check VTEC solenoid valve. See SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article.
8. Ensure jumper wire is still connected to VTEC solenoid valve connector. Start engine and allow it to idle.
Set engine speed to more than 4000 RPM and measure voltage between ground and PCM 31-pin
connector "C" terminal No. 10 (Blue/Black wire). See ENGINE PERFORMANCE WIRING
DIAGRAMS article. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, replace
VTEC pressure switch.
9. Turn ignition off and disconnect jumper wire. Check for continuity between VTEC solenoid valve
harness connector and PCM 25-pin connector "B" terminal No. 12 (Green/Yellow wire). See Fig. 2 . See
ENGINE PERFORMANCE WIRING DIAGRAMS article. If continuity exists, go to next step. If
continuity does not exist, repair open in Green/Yellow wire between VTEC solenoid valve connector and
PCM 25-pin connector "B" terminal No. 12.
10. Check for continuity between ground and VTEC solenoid valve connector. See ENGINE
PERFORMANCE WIRING DIAGRAMS article. If continuity exists, repair short in Green/Yellow
wire between VTEC solenoid valve connector and PCM 25-pin connector "B" terminal No. 12. If
continuity does not exist, substitute a known-good PCM and recheck. See SUBSTITUTING PCM in
SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - INTRODUCTION article. If symptom or problem goes away, replace original
PCM
