Which is smaller, gigabytes or megabytes

megabits is smaller
if you want to back up 2.83 gb get a usb flash drive
get a 5gb unit
usb sticks (flash drive) rated at 5 gb will hold 4.5 gb of data as the rating is the total capacity but all flash drives require a small amount of space to work so the actual amount of data capacity is always less than the stated size on the flash drive
the capacity rating is-- smallest to largest --bytes, mega bytes , gigabytes, and terabytes

Pavilion 9700 bios amd

There is no such thing as a BIOS driver. BIOS instructs hardware during boot. BIOS should only flashed if there is a TRUE problem. Not recommended.

I can't find the bios flash instructions .how do you flash the bios on my toshiba a35s159

You should check the Toshiba WEB site for instructions to how to upgrade (flash) your BIOS, if you make a mistake you may not be able to repair or recover from your mistake.

I have done BIOS upgrades on a few computers.
If your Toshiba has a floppy drive and you can boot up from this floppy drive then the BIOS upgrade needs to be downloaded to a boot floppy. Then boot up from this floppy and run the BIOS upgrade program. When completed, remove the floppy disk and boot up your laptop.

YOU MUST CHECK THE TOSHIBA WEB SITE AS THESE INSTRUCTION MAY NOT BE APPLICABLE FOR YOUR TOSHIBA LAPTOP.

Asus f5 bios download

If you don't know what you're doing flashing the bios can really screw things up. You might already be at the latest bios version, so be sure to check it.

You would get the bios driver to flash it from the manufacturer's website and follow the instructions.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "ASUS Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the BIOS drivers. There will be instructions on flashing the bios. Also check your current bios version.

Scanning BIOS Image in Hard Drive

Your BIOS to your GA-8I848P-G Motherboard would be flashable to the BIOS chip on the Board it's self. Make sure you read Gigabytes BIOS flash instructions. If the board is up and running Windows, then Gigabyte has there LIVE BIOS update you can run from there website!

Good luck..

BIOS flashing problem. Latest BIOS from Biostar site is on flash drive, F12 during POST opens the flash screen, file is selected; but then the process hangs at blinking message "Reading file, please wait",...

If I am right, writing Bios files isn't possible with your Motherboard Bios Flash Memory. I've done updating bios on many motherboards, but most of them can't be written, when I contact the manufacturers, they only say that I must have done something wrong, following the instructions, but with the same instructions and procedures, it worked on some motherboards. Not all motherboards support flashing bios, since some bus and flash memory are faster and some are not. Sometimes your pendrive (flash drive) creates this problem, so I would suggest you to use another flash drive. I hope you did format the flash drive before you write the Bios updates files, if not, you should do it and you have to write the files on an empty drive.
(This isn't a solution, only an assistance, if this doesn't help, you can still ask for another expert's help)

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

DFI is the board manufacturer. They may or may not offer support since this is a really old board by computer standards. Hope this helps.
