Have issues with lighting control. With the PIM connected odd things are happening with lighting. Different 'rooms ' of lighting operate with the intended loads.

With the panel PIM unplugged the UPB touch pads operate fine.

SOURCE: dell inspiron I6400 touch pad is not working

Unless there is not a hardware switch and the only manufacturer that I know of that did that was Compaq/HP about 5 or so years ago. Typically there are no drivers to be installed for a mouse (touch pad) as a generic set is in the driver library of the operating system. 9 times out of 10 it is a hardware failure. With that being said, if it has warranty send it in, if it does not, (although it may just be a loose connection or the touch pad itself) most repair shops are going to run anywhere from 150 - 300 dollars just to crack it open. Best option is to get a small USB mouse, unless you just really want the touch pad.

SOURCE: touch pad control panel on Savin c3030 doesn't

Hello.I can ASSURE you absolutely what the problem is.Your Savin copier(which is a perfectly fine device) is actaully manufactured by Ricoh.I work for a Savin dealership and Ricoh contacted all dealers WORLDWIDE with the news that due to a manufacturing defect that the touch screens of al models such as yours WILL fail. They sent out free of charge replacement touchscreens to all dealers as they have a record of how many of what type was sold by whom.I mean we had a crate of touchscreens show up at our dock at about the same time we started to get a barrage of service calls for this problem. It was one of the wildest things I've seen. Now it is just the "glass" of the touchscreen that is defective as it actually an "active" part of the op panel's circuitry of the op panel. It is relatively easy to replace. Now the question is, how do YOU aquire one,as it is a known defect and is covered by warrranty.I have to assume you purchased this device on your own and that you do not have a service agreement thru an independent dealer. My advice would be to contact whomever you bought the device from or perhaps Ricoh directly and tell them the problem and that you are aware that Ricoh is aware of the problem and see what they say.I cant tell you how many of these things I have had to replace as it is not a matter of IF there will be a problem with the Savin c3030 touchsreen, but merely when.Good luck, and although I did not "FIXYA" I hope you will acknowledge to the sight that I gave you the facts that you need. :-) Take care

Does MA5800 support the Multicast?

Yes, it supports Layer 3 multicast networking, also supports IPv4 PIM SSM.

Protocol Independent Multicast-Source-Specific Multicast (PIM-SSM) enables a user host to rapidly join a multicast group if the user knows a multicast source address. PIM-SSM sets up a shortest path tree (SPT) from a multicast source to a multicast group, while PIM-SM uses rendezvous points (RPs) to set rendezvous point trees (RPTs). Therefore, PIM-SSM implements a more rapid join function than PIM-SM.

Different from the any-source multicast (ASM) model, the SSM model does not need to maintain an RP, construct an RPT, or register a multicast source.

The SSM model is based on PIM-SM and IGMPv3. The procedure for setting up a multicast forwarding tree on a PIM-SSM network is similar to the procedure for setting up an SPT on a PIM-SM network. The receiver's DR, which knows the multicast source address, sends Join messages directly to the source so that multicast data streams can be sent to the receiver's designated router (DR).

Heard a loud "Pop" sound, now oven won't work and lost digital display. Stove and lights (even in oven) all work fine. Breaker did NOT trip btw. Odd.

When my range digital display lights failed everything as you describe happened except the "pop". The display just faded and died. I replaced the display unit (a simple swap out involving pulling the wires one at a time and reconnecting to the new display as I pulled them so as not to connect wrongly). Once done I haven't had a problem since and the display was noticeably brighter. It appears that the display unit only affects the ovens operation for heat control and everything else is on a different circuit which is why your oven light and rings are still operational.

Hunter Ceiling fan remote is operating all the other ceiling fans as well

Sounds like all the dip switches are set to factory still. Easy enough to fix.
Slide open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and remove the fan's canopy against the ceiling. Then just change the switch to a different setting but make sure that the remote and fan have the same setting. Repeat this in each room so that all the fans have a different setting to each other.

Hope this makes sense.

Need help with blown fuses in mazda rx8 2004. Husband removed the messed up sunvisor and now the radio doesn't work or the display and the map lights and keyless entry/alarm aren't working either. Car...

2003 MPV. Room Fuse would immediately blow when replaced - as a result, no audio, auto doors, interior lights, etc. It would blow without the key in the ignition so I knew it had to be something that operated without the electric being turned on. Started guessing by pulling the fuses for the auto doors then retrying the Room Fuse.. Room Fuse continued to blow. Then went through interior lighting - started taking out bulbs and disconnecting lighting connections trying to isolate the issue.. popped the visor mirrors out and noticed one of the connections had come loose.. reconnected, popped in another Room Fuse, and presto! Everything back to normal - lucky me.

I have three different FOXCONN 6150 motherboards, all three have the same problem that they will not turn completely off when you shut down windows and they will not sleep or hybernate properly. Windows...

Never had that problem but I would say if you have these set up as 3 separate pc's it is very weird. Not sure to what extent or effort you put into actually testing each machine with each OS you mention. The odds of an exact mobo hardware issue like this is slim to none, same with bios. My 1st thought is the wiring. I assume you built all 3. If the wiring is not correct it will not shut down properly and the only matching thing besides the mobo maker is you.

My printer has just been moved from one room to another. now it wont switch on

may sound odd, but chek the cables if they all are properly connected... if so and nothing has happened check the power in the new plug using a lamp or something like that to make sure that it is getting power. And if the power´s ok, try using a different cable to the printer, maybe it just got torn inside.
