Caller says my phone rings 2 x's and then the busy signal. I don't know how to fix this.

For purposes of discussion, lets say you are the caller. The "busy" signal may be a "reorder" signal. A reorder signal indicates that that the network inbetween your network and the recipient's network (or just the recipient's network) can not "find" a route back to your network. If you had received a busy signal, you reached the recipient's network but the recipient was on another call. If the problem is a "trunk" failure, the solution is beyond your reach. If it is a line failure, a call to the phone compan

Landline phone constant busy signal

should you dial 9 or another access code for outside calls?

If if you dial an "outside" number on an intercom line it will look at the first 2-3 digits as another extension. You need to dial the Central Office access code, or use a line key assigned to an outside line.

Call receptionist and dont get busy signal

You need to dial two commands on the receptionist's phone. On the intercom dial 7311# for outside line call waiting signals and 7321# for inside calls. (0 cancels).

I bught a kx-ta824, I just have one CO line and i want to put 4 extensions , but i couldn't. I can just recive 1 call and then the line sounds busy.

With one CO line you can only make or receive one external call at a time. You can have extensions connected on intercom calls, but once your CO line is in use, anyone calling in will get a busy signal, as will anyone in the office trying to make an outside call. You'll need additional CO lines if you want to have several outside calls going on at once.

Getting 'busy signals and line in use message' on my phone.

the "line in use" indicates that there is not enough current on your line, either there is a broken wire and the phone is not getting any current, or there is a short on your line reducing the current on your line.

you should unplug your phone and check with a diffrent phone to see if there is any dial tone on the jack that you have a problem with... if everything is good with a diffrent phone then it is likely that the trouble is your phone, if the trouble still exists, bring a corded phone to the NID outside of your home, and test if there is dial tone there, and that you can make and receive calls... if the trouble goes away, they you need to troubleshoot further inside your home, if the trouble still exists, then you have a trouble outside that your local phone company needs to take care of, and you should contact them so that they can make the repairs..
