1. VIDEO FILES TAKE MUCH TOO LONG TO LOAD.....EG. A 5 MINUTE VIDEO FILE CAN TAKE 12 TO 15 MINUTES TO LOAD. 2. i CANT SEEM TO GET ANY AUDIO HELP!!!

Try "K-Lite Codec" pack to help with your audio problem. This should help unless there is a problem with your audio driver. It may be worth checking this in Device Manager. The loading time may be due to your graphics card, or lack of it. If you are not using a graphics card then all of the decoding of your video file is being done by your main processor, and in these instances the more memory your system has the better. You don't say if you are laoding the file from hard drive or the internet. If it is the internet then the previous hardware limitations apply, but it may just be your internet bandwidth. Try downloading from the internet to your hard drive first before playing. This may save your media withdrawal system. Hope this helps.

I have a compaq presario v2000 , the previous owner had deleted drivers and programs from this laptop. we tried to download drivers but the sound/media, the wireless soes not work. some drivers wont load....

I assume that the problem with the modem is due to the missing drivers. Here is the official link for you to download the missing drivers. In case of not using Windows XP change the first line at Windows 2000. Note that officially this laptop in not windows 7 compatible.

Computer does not recognize camera Emachine runing win 7

I assume you have tried to find the Win7 driver otherwise it wont work.

If not available try the Vista driver if available.

Ensure you do NOT plug it in till driver is loaded and remove previous drivers.

My Phillips web cam doesnt work anymore. BTW I have a Japanese Windows XP When trying to load my driver the it loads up to about 44 percent and then stops. install shield wizard says component transfer...

Good day sir/maam, if the driver does't finish loading, means that the CD or the CD drive is the culprit. try to use the CD on another PC. copy the files to a flash drive (just make sure you get a good copy). then bring the copy to your PC. load the driver again.
If still wont load. problem with the XP, reinstall your XP again. scan your files with antivirus and also all your flash drives. Reinstall your driver. just make sure your PC is virus free.

Webcam wont load

Hi,

If the two (cam + laptop) have not worked together before, it might be due to drivers problems. Most drivers are very OS specific. In some instances Vista has been known to have USB and/or compatibility issues. On the otherhand XP sometimes requires that you uninstall the old drivers, reboot before (re)installing new drivers, reboot before installing the hardware and allow autodetect and auto install.

If the two (cam + laptop) have worked together before and now doesn't, it might be due to hardware problems such as the cord, the cam itself or the USB port of the laptop. If your other USB devices works, then USB port(s) can be ruled out. You can verify that the camera works buy installing it in another PC.

You can verify OS compatibility of your camera as well as updated drivers at the Logitech website. Additionally, you can check for Microsoft updates/patches and fixes like this USB patch for Vista.

Should you need additional information, pls post back with your cam's brand/model, your laptop's brand/model and your OS version.

Hope this be of help. Good luck and kind regards.
