You can go on google and download a pdf file on particular saw an it should tell you the factory setting

I need jet settings for carb


I would start by gently turning the needles all the way in. Then turn them both out two and one half turns. Try starting and see how it runs. Adjust the low jet in or out till running smooth. Pull the trigger and adjust the high needle in or out till it comes up to speed and runs well under load. You may have to touch up one or both because there will be some interaction.

What kind of saw is it???
on average low jet is about 1 1/2 turn counterclockwise out after bottoming out the jet slightly
high jet about 1 turn counterclockwise after bottoming jet out clockwise

I replaced gaskets and fuel lines now when i prime bulb gas runs out of carb,also need factory settings for H-L and throttle,i know i messed up somewhere?realy need my saw running,thanks


take apart your carb--sounds like your carb diaphram is not installed right the settings should be
1.5 turn out low jet
1 turn out high jet
that should get it running then some fine adjustment once its running

If it's starving for fuel,turn H. Screw out wards just a ,tad,playing around with them will create problems.

1 and a half turns out then rev it up and turn the screw H until it starts to peak out in revs.

Jonsered saw factory carb settings


basic settings for this saw would be one turn out on both screws, these are base settings so fine adjustment would have to be done, it it will not run at these settings there is somthing else wrong with it.

42 CC Hoemlite chainsaw runs but when hot it does not accelerate, chokes out, I need to adjust the "H" "screw" and need a tool to do so.


These jets are pre-set from the factory .they interlock with each other.make sure the air vents on flywheel side are not blocked.You will probably have to rebuild or replace carb.

How to adjust carb. settings on a McCulloch Pro Mac 610 chain saw


turn both jets in untill snug (don't force) turn out ccw one full turn. increase by 1/8 turns untill set proper. should be between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 normally. good luck. be safe.
