Question about Casio MTP Watches
The battery was checked and replaced by watch repair shop. The watch was also dusted and still not working. Could this be mechanical issue. Is there a shop in Huntsville Alabama, I can take to?
The electronics in a watch sometimes stop working, because something is defect. Special when around the battery was "dust" is is oxide coming form a leaking battery. The batteries are not supposed to leak, but some cheaper brands do. The oxide can have damaged the circuitry in the watch. Not worth cleaning, because the oxidation already started en can go on on any place in the watch. If it is a good watch and you are attached, ask if they can replace the electronics, but also ask what it will cost you.
