SOURCE: the Drum turns, but no heat, is it ok?

check your breaker, sometimes if one side of the 220v breaker trips and not the other then the dryer will run with no heat. if you have a voltage meter then check the outlet itself for a full 220v.

SOURCE: F-08 error message on Hotpoint Washing machine

If it works fine with the heater off then i would say that fault appears to be element..the readings you get seem okay, put you meter onto megs and check, with wires off if you get electrical leakage between live and earth...Body....of element, it could be element is heating with no water in machine causing it to burn out..this is a problem with this machine...Wish you well

SOURCE: We have a Bosch classixx

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
It is possible that the heater is taking longer than it should to heat the water to the correct temperature. This could be that the element is coated in calcium. I suggest you run the contents of a couple of sachets of proprietary limescale removing powder/fluid through it. The most efficient way is to put the contents in an empty washer and pour a kettle of hot water into the drum then leave overnight. In the morning run just a spin; the water mix will then go through the drain filter and drain motor impeller blades, doing absolutely NO harm whatsoever, in fact some good!
You could also consider repeating the action ;-0)
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

My bosch classix 2100 washing machine takes 3 hours to finish a 30 degree wash.is this normal?

If it gets stuck on 1 minute for a long time, it is possibly the heating element which needs replacing. They can get covered in scale in hard water areas and stop working. Replacing the heating element in my Bosch Logixx solved the problem.

Bosch Exxcel 1200 (WF02464GB) not heating

The machine only heats when it takes the detergent, all three rinses are cold only and this time of year the load will be very cold when it comes out. If the machine is not taking extra time (like a hour or two) longer to run a cycle, then there is no problem.
If you want to check the heater is functioning, try this
1 Put the dial to off
2 press and hole the start button whilst turning the dial one click to left (easycare 30)
3 release start and either two of the progression lights are lit or if it has a diplay should show 8.88 or 0.00
4 turn dial to 90 cotton, take the the long way round ie not thro the off or you will have to start again
5 press start
6 drum will fill and the heater will come on, wait a few minutes and if the heater is working ok you will hear a noise like a kettle boiling.
The drum does not turn during the test to allow you to hear this without the movement of the drum obscuring the sound.
If it sounds ok, cool. put dial to off, wait a second then select drain to get rid of the water in the drum
All the best

How much for the repair manual and trouble shooting guide for my W6021 asko asea front loader, it will not heat, but the heater is good!

Hi.

The thermistor is located near to the heating element(pt.40) and motor(pt.6). The thermistor/holder assembly is part 31/31in picture below:

d0233ee.gif

To get the full part manual click here. The assembly is at pages 4/5.

Here the part.

To test the thermistor remove it from circuit and read Ohms at its terminals. If the thermistor is good it must read zero or very low impedance. If it reads open, then it is broken.

If this solution was helpful, then please do not forget to accept the solution. Your feedback is important to us.

Regards.

My Bosch dishwasher is no longer using hot water to wash dishes, only cold. I have checked all the connections and they are ok. What gives?

Check the thermostat, heater element. Finally check whether the power supply reaching the element terminals.

Take care if you are doing it keeping the machine ON.

I have bosch classic, the fuse goes off after 5

Make sure you hace a 13 amp fuse fitted in plug.
Could be a faulty heater element.
Locate heater, remove connections to heater and try without the
heater.
If it still blows, then could be a faulty motor, unplug motro, and try again.
Hope this helps.

No heat during drying cycle

your heating element or the thermostats that control the heating element could be bad. research no heat for your make of dryer, it should show how to ohm the thermostats and element for fault. They should all read 000 when ohmed. 000 being a complete circuit. I have been having thermal fuse problems with my whirlpool dryer, so I'm learning as I go.
