I need to refresh a page, but do not know where the refresh button is located.

With most web browsers the refresh function is assigned to the F5 key. If that doesn't do it, please specify the browser and version.

It wont load says loading hangouts 64%

Exactly the same happened to me. It either says connecting to server 16% or loading hangouts 64%. Sometimes refreshing the page can help (F5) but other times it won't work. I left mine loading all day and it still didn't work. I'm afraid that there is nothing you can do about it just keep trying in hope that it will eventually work. That's what I did. I hope this was helpfull!

Where in simple terms do I get to a browser to find a refresh button

The simplist and easiest way to refresh a web page is to press F5 which reloads the page you are on.

That will work on IE and Firefox.

Hope this helps.

Im playing cityville on facebook and the game tells me to refresh browser how do i do this?

Click on a clear part of the webpage on the side, but not a link or part of the game then press the F5 button on your keyboard. It will refresh the entire webpage.
Hope this does the trick!

My laptop will not display website background colors. Every background is white. Even if I select "use windows backgrounds" on internet options.

Try a hard refresh.

Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R

Also Shift+Reload Button seems to work in Firefox

A hard refresh bypasses the cached version of the page your browser has stored, and allows the page to load as it is on the server.

A normal refresh basically checks if there is a newer version of the page available if not just reloads the cached content that it has stored.

Sometimes things just don't get cached right.
