Question about Nintendo Wii Console
Have you tried to clean out the vents. You can clean out the vents by using short burst of compressed air. If you use canned air read all instructions on can before use for not to spray any liquid in the wii itself.
Is your wii in an enclosed area where it won't have proper ventilation or on carpet. If so remove the system and place it on a hard surface out in the open.
Do you have all licenced wii accessories. Like a gamecube controller, A/V cables, Power supply. If not try to replace them with official accessories.
Look for damage to the system and accessories.

system turns on but then turns itself off, beeps at you and flashes its lights
at you then you have over heated the system. The GPU chip has problem pulled
itself away from the board. This will require you to disassemble.......
