Question about Canon imageCLASS MF8170C All-In-One Laser Printer
The high pitch noise only occurs after black and white print jobs. It doesn't make the noise after color prints. I've changed the toner cartridge - twice - and the noise continues. It typically abates when the cartridge is first installed or if I take out the cartridge and shake it then reinstall. All three of the black toner cartridges have been remanufactured.

SOURCE: new cartridge won't print
Note: [HEAD REFRESHING] uses more ink than [HEAD CLEANING], so perform [HEAD REFRESHING] only when necessary.

The printer will not print unless you change the specific cartridge that is empty, so change the cartridge and install a full new one. then you should be ok
