Where can I buy a replacement primer bulb for a gardeners choice lawn mower model GLM460 in Gold coast?

The best thing to do would be to remove the broken one and take it to the local mower shop and tell them you need to replace it. There is generally only 3 or 4 different types of bulbs and they suit a whole range of mowers / chainsaws / whipper snippers etc. The guy at the shop shouldn't even need to know what brand mower it came off.
Just google "mower parts gold coast" there is a heap of them on the Gold Coast.

I have a stihl 2 stroke petrol whipper snipper. It seems to have over heated at the reel end. I have smoke and grease spewing out at that end (metal neck at the reel end) have I fried it?

Sounds like you have a straight shaft trimmer version that have got bad bearing(s) that needs replacing. It probably will take the whole gearbox as a replacement item.

How to fit whipper snipper line

Hold the snipper upside down so the petrol leaks onto the kitchen floor. Take 6 metres of line and untangle it eventually. Stick it through the two holes and wind the cord in opposite directions so it jams together and tangles. Stick the unit head back together with two feet of line sticking out each side. Start the trimmer and jump backwards as the line rips itself to pieces. Use it on weeds until line breaks within 20 seconds. Slam the end of the trimmer into the concrete and shout **** fuckey **** ****. Then tear off the head cover and start again. I have done this for years and it never fails. Hope this helps.
