Question about Refrigerators
It was running constantly, blew breaker, won't start back up once reset. Need to know more about what could be the issue so I don't spend $$ on electrical parts I can' return. Any Help is appreciate. Think it might be defrost timer or thermostat, but don't know how to tell which one is causing the problem. If something else would like to hear your thoughts.

If you have a volt-ohm meter, check the compressor for a short to ground or the compressor shell. My guess is the compressor is burned. Don't bother to repair. Shop for a lightly used replacement.
