Yanmar b15 excavator Boom and arm will not operate. everything else works fine. HELP.

Is there an interlock on the boom that wont allow it to operate if the front blade is not set? There could be an issue with hydraulic fluid, pump or PTO.

My 1995 yamaha vmax motorcycle starts fine. when it warms up after a bit it shuts down. the shop is puzzled. they said that all 4 coils test out fine but when it is warm they all 4 just stop. no spark goes...

have them test the cdi box. it is your electronic controler for your ingnition timeing. it could be getting hot and shuting down. when it shuts down. the can take a wire from the negative side of the coil and ground it to the frame touching it and letting go of it instintly and if it sparks its not the coils it will be the cdi box or something to do with the electronic pickups in the motor that gives the signal to the cdi. that it is the correct time to trigger firing. hope this helps out.

Yanmar diesel engine model#3007D003 powering a 6x4 cuts off.

My thought is that it is electrical, since it will not crank. I assume you mean that it will not turn over when you turn the key. I am not certain, but I think that if you have an electrical problem it may shut off the fuel supply as well. There is probably an electrical fuel stop on that machine. Since there is no spark plugs or electrical system to make the engine run, by shorting out the electrical system it will not stop the engine.

The Keypad is a Circuit. Each of the Function Buttons is a switch. The same "Touch" Techinology as is used of your TV Remote Control Pad or your Telephone. It would appear that your Keypad Circuit is Open, not allowing touch commands to reach the Control Board. The Keypad will have to be replaced. Best done by a Professional. I have seen "Rare" cases of a defective Door Switch causing such symptoms.

Using if and then to add values to a cell

Try using the SUMIF function for one condition or multiple conditions. Use the SUMIF worksheet function to create a total value for one range based on a value in another range. For example, for every cell in the rage B5:B25 that contains the value "Northwind", the following formula calculates the total for the corresponding cells in the range F5:F25. Formula:
=sumif(B5:B25,"Northwind",F5:F25)

Here are SUMIF functions for multiple conditions.

=sum(if((B5:B25="Northwind")*(C5:C25="Western"),F5:F25))

=sum(if((B5:B25="Northwind")+(C5:C25="Western"),F5:F25))

=sum(if(B5:B25="Northwind",IF(C5:C25="Western"),1,0)))

Also check your help for SUMIF functions.

If this helps you, Please rate me. Thanks, Patty
