Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

I had the same problem and find the answer on other forum http://forums.crackberry.com/f85/huge-problem-about-initialization-failed-sos-113323/ I used some scotch tape and worked perfect for me, the idea is to make the sim card a litle "fat" to fit the contacts.

The first thing to try is put the SIM into another handset - if you get the same error message on that, the SIM is blocked. If it works in another phone, the most likely explanation is that the IMEI of your phone has been blocked by the network.

whats your phones model number anyway check with this the sim card slot you put may be expanded there will be a small cap like enclosure on the sim slot try to bend it and again insert the sim the sim card should be holded tight or else keep a small paper on above the sim card and close the battery you get a solution. thank you

Looks like your phone still locked for particular network and you must unlock it first, before you can use your local sim card. To unlock blackberry storm, you must have blackberry unlock code for verizon network and you can purchase that code at third party sites on internet.
