You need to re-program the TACH wire.. open the door start the car with the key, between 5 seconds press the valet switch 1 time and press it again and hold it until the led flashes and the car will beep and then turn it off and start the car with the remote and it should be programed now. if that doesn't work take it to a authorized viper dealer to have it fixed.

The motor is shutting off, better find the problem before it dies while you are pulling out in front of a semi and you end up dead.

Check fuel pressure and filter. Check engine light on? Exhaust crushed or blocked? Remote start battery dying?

do you have a make and model of the vehicle? does it blow fuses.I would say that the A/C is aftermarket and interfering with the electronics on the vehicle shutting it down. maybe try connecting the compressor to a different power outlet and see what happens..

I use my remote start to start my car, it will start and then it will shut off with in 10 to 15 seconds or so. Is this a normal problem?

It's difficult to determine without the year and model of the car and some more info. Does it run fine when you start it with the key? If it's a later model car that has a computer chip key (which most do) typically the car won't start at all or will start and stall right away and not run for that length of time. If you had the battery replaced in your car recently that could be the issue. Sometimes the tach has to be learned back into the remote start. The remote starts shuts down because it can't see the RPM of the engine. Bring it to a local shop

Will not unlock doors. Battery is good and flashes all lights on transmitter and LED inside vehicle. Remote start will start up and shut down vehicle fine. Just does not lock or unlock doors. Locks work...

Have you changed the battery recently? My remote has a bad habot of slightly misaligning the cel switches if I don't close it exactly right. For my Chrysler van the sliding door switch is affected that way. All else works, though. I end up opening the remote again and ensuring it snaps shut all the way around with just one compression. If an edge doesn't close it's try again. The good news is it's virtually always the remote at issue and nothing expensive in the vehicle.

sounds like your car battery was also replace or it die
believe it or not the remote start needs to be reprogram again

find the valet switch, this what you are going to do
make sure ac radio and any other accesorie are off

start the car with the key within 2 seconds or less press and hold the valet swith, and way until the
led turns on and the parking lights on the vehicle flash about 12 seconds
no turn off the car close the door and start the vehicle with the remote good luck

Wont start when key in ing. and turning on than cutting off if battery dead

factory alarm, when manually unlocking the door the lights flash & horn usually go off & the car will start & shut off within a second or 2. Have 2 96 jeeps that do it the panic button on the keyless entry is the only way to shut it off. If the battery has died & a new one is installed it trips the panic mode as well. If the battery is dead but vehicle starts with a jump but shuts off soon after jumper cables are removed, the alternator is bad & cant keep the computer powered up & will shut down the vehicle. A little more specific with symptoms will make diagnosing much easier.
