Hi, turn the handle to unlock, collapse the sides and then the tricky part is toward the bottom of legs finding the other piece to press to collapse them even further.

Broken power switch Neon Sign

It should have plastic click locks or tabs, holding it together. place a butter knife or putty knife in seam and go around the edges and pry out while feeling for the location of tabs with another thin blade. Once located pry in to release snap locks.

Hood release doesnt work

Possible the metal cable has snapped or there is fault in the link to the hood lock or the pulling lever. You will need to use a screw driver to release the hood by pushing the lever on the hood lock. Once this is done then the mechanism can be traced for smooth motion , use lubrication on the linkages to make the levers work smoothly as also on the locks.

When I tried to open the hood during cold weather, I heard a snap like sound and the release under the dash became floppy like. How can I now open the hood. Is there a way from outside the vehicle to open...

Sounds like you snapped the cable - it can happen, especially in cold weather.
It is most likely that the cable snapped at the lock, try reaching up from under the engine (or through the grill if your arm fits) and release the lock manually. You might need a screw driver to get some leverage without killing your fingers. Try looking for where the cable WOULD connect and in what direction it would pull - this will give you some indication as to what to pry with your fingers or screwdriver.

And, if there is cable still hanging from the lock, grab it with some pliers, then wrap the cable around the jaws of the pliers, if possible, then yank.
If neither of these work, and you can't reach the locking mechanism, you might need to take the grill and/or bumper off and then try.
This happened on my 99 Ranger once, but I was able to reach through the grill with a screwdriver and release it.

I cant figure out how to take out the deck in the dash of my mustang i put alan wrenches in the 4 holes in the corners of it figuring they were maybe like snap locks? but i cant get it out! i need help on...

You will need a Ford radio removal tool. These can be purchased at Wal-mart and your local auto store for about $5. The pack comes with 2 and you will both. These are U shaped and once these are inserted into the holes it will release "locks" to remove radio. There are other options to get it out but this is the best for someone new to this. God Luck

'95 rodeo cant turn the key, the key is not stuck, the cylinder is

Try turning the steering wheel while trying to turn the ignition. Didn't work? Can you remove the key? Use some WD40 with the tube and spray a little in. Put the key in, pull it out, repeat several times. Put the key in and wiggle the ignition lock back and forth.(try while wiggling the steering wheel back and forth, too.) Still won't move? Try pulling the key out just a small fraction of an inch and try turning the ignition.

Still no solution, time to give up and call a locksmith.

Bonnet cable snapped, need advice on how to open bonnet

Most of the time the cable snaps at the release handle. If you remove the handle and get the end of the cable, you can cut off the cable jacket and use needle nose pliers or vise grips to grab the cable and pull to release bonnet.
