Washer shows error code PF. At times it will not come on at all. At times it beeps erratically. Washer is a Kenmore Elite top load
The PF indicates a power failure. The range experienced a loss of electrical power. This code is usually cleared by pressing the CLEAR/OFF button. If you continue to get this code, you may need to unplug the range and check the wiring connections of the power cord on the back of the range. The page from the installation manual that addresses power cord connection is shown in the first image below. If you need the entire installation manual (and owner's manual) you can find it on our Manage My Home website. I included links for your installation manual and owner's manual below as well. The F7 error code indicates that one or more potentiometers (burner switches) are not connected properly or that you have one or more failed potentiometers. The specific details of this failure code are provided in the second image below. This is an excerpt from the technical information for this range. Normally, a service technician would be needed to conduct the troubleshooting and diagnosis for this type of failure. If you are completely confident in your technical ability to safely unplug the range and access these potentiometers (Key 54 in the third image) you may be able to check for loose or broken wires that could be causing this code. If no loose wires are found, then you will likely need to have a technician find and replace a failed potentiometer.
The F2 on the oven control was likely caused by the F7 failure code on the burner control. It indicates a problem with the communications link from the burner control.
