Its not what is the max length you can use on this machine , as this one if it operates at 220 volt 50hz only draws a little over 8 amps , but how large the circuit supplying is fused for , as 200 ft of 16 ga power cord would provide a voltage drop to only 207 volts (vs 220 volts) this would now make your tool draw a little less than 9amps plus your tool is not operating at its full voltage/speed and it heats up more and does less work so will take longer to do same work
any cord length that produces a total current load to near or over 15 amps total load is gonna produce problems for both tool and operator

I am considering buying a BT phone model bt8500 and need to know the length of the electrical lead included, not the phone socket cable, to see if my electric socket is near enough. Can you help please ?...

i do not think or care how long the electrical cord can be, as long as you have hot (positive) + cold (negative) line, when i ran phone lines in the military we ran wire up to 1 mile and we can test it with electric and ohms meter. both way works, and i know you are not running the wire a mile long. have 60hz or 50hz cycles every second flopping in both direction 60hz or 50hz off set. here is a formulas
to help you:
f is the frequency in kilohertz,
x is the wavelength in meter
300,000 300,000
f = --------------- x = --------------------------
x f
if either the frequency or the wavelength is known, the other can be computed as follows.

Wolf 5000kva generator

Locate where the choke lever is for your generator (under the petrol tank), you ought to notice a star headed shaped screw connected to the governor shaft (if you bend and look closely further beyond the choke lever; still under the petrol tank) which is linked to the carburettor housing/assembly. You need to increase/turn clockwise (using a star screwdriver) on this screw.

Your generator engine sound will change/high a bit because the engine speed will increase.

Reconnect your 1800w chop saw (load) and see if your generator can "effortlessly" accommodate it without shutting down otherwise, increae the turns on this adjustment screw attached to the governor shaft till your generator operates/stabilizes with the load (1800w) connected

I need a longer power cord for my GE 12 cup percolator. It has three prongs.

Hi, My advice is don't make the cord too long. they can heat up and start on fire if its too long.
You can get a power bar and screw it to the under side of the cupboard. good luck

Well for 15A the minimum wire size in your cord should 14 gauge, Length can't really be specified but you want to go for less resistance in the cord, thicker wire and less length will give you less resistance (more so thickness). If your grinder works fine without the extension cord, I would recommend getting a heavy duty extension cord with 12 gauge wire and trying that.

Voltage difference

The voltage difference can be overcome. The problem will be the difference in frequency 50hz vs 60hz. The motors would have to be replaced with motors designed to operate at 50hz. The electronics would most likely need to be replace as well.

Best bet would be to contact whirlpool international to see if the offer a conversion kit/package.

How to adjust the controls and gain on my kenwood 9104d 1800w amp

Hook the speakers in series to decrease your chances of blowing the amp and/or speakers themselves. And at high volumes make sure that the bass control is set for flat response.
