Take it to a service center. It seems you lack the ability to figure out a simple task.

The stick vacuum seems to be charging by the red indicator light turning green, yet will not turn on.

A rechargeable battery will only accept a charge only so many times - it is possible that you've reach that number. Anywhere between couple and a few hundred is about the maximum. Changing the battery will usually solve the problem. Good luck!

Not charging

Hi there,

Well first of all check it directly, means if it works when it was in charging mode, if yes that means you need to change the battery of your vacuum or if it don't work in charging mode means there is a problem in the adapter (charging unit) and it need to be check by using a ohms meter. Post comments if you need further help or information......

Good Luck!!

Light says its charging but it wont turn on

Hi there,

Well first of all you may check that the charger (adapter) is working or not, you may use a volt meter to check it out or use another charger to make sure....... further you may follow the step below -
1. Remove the battery pack from Vacuum.
2. Hold down the power button for five seconds.
3. Reinstall the battery to reset the system.
4. Plug the Charger directly into vacuum.
5. Charge the battery untill the power light is solid green again and keep the vacuum on the charger for an additional 72 hours (3 days). Important: Do NOT interrupt this charging cycle.
If further you have the same problem it means it's time to change the old battery with new one.

Good Luck!!

How long i have to charge my Euro-Pro Shark

mcdevito75 here, I believe a full charge would be 4--6 hours, but wait until battery needs the charge, to charge a battery with an already half charge or better could shorten battery life.

I think the battery is not holding its charge anymore. The red (charging) light does change to green but only runs a few yards on leaving the dock.

You have dead nimh (nickle metal hydride) batteries2_bing.gif.
You will need a replacement. You can test for this by removing the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds. This will restart the charging cycle as if the battery were new.
