Question about GE Refrigerators
THE PRODIGY THERMOSTAT TR/86 223C3823P001 HAS THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ON THE RIGHT. RED - 1,TOP WHITE - P1,BOTTOM. THE REPLACEMENT PART GE WB20K10008 CONNECTIONS ARE ONE ON THE RIGHT AND ONE ON THE LEFT WITH NO MARKINGS. WHICH WIRE GOES WHERE?
I looked that part up and it seems to be a simple 2 wire thermostat. The heat turns it off at a certain temp. So the wiring doesn't matter which color goes where. The internal contact are either on or off depending on the temp. Just make sure the wire plugs don't touch any other metal when installed.
