SOURCE: lg 1.5 tr split ac capilary replaced.size 5.0

The best practice when replacing a cap tube is to replace it with the identical size and length of the old cap tube. Also, you must run it in the same way, if the cap tube was soldered to the suction line in any area then the replacement should also be soldered to the suction line. The old cap tube should have been stretched out, measured and gauged with a cap tube gauge. If you just went by load, it appears your cap tube is the wrong size, should be a #4 or .064ID and not a #5 .028ID. This is just based on some cap tube sizing charts I looked at assuming you have a single cap tube and not a multi circuit evap. Other than the cap tube the symptoms point to a system that was overcharged, dirty condenser, condenser fan motor not running. If you have a way to check suction and discharge pressures this will be the best way to see what is going on.

SOURCE: 1.ton ac capillary pipe size and length I want to know. B coz suction line cooling level is very low gass psi 75

I'm guessing you should have 3/8 & 5/8 copper on that unit with a maximum of 50 feet. I doubt the line set size is affecting your pressures that significantly, you likely have a leak.

Capillary tube

You can determine this by taking a numbered drill bit index and inserting the proper size diameter but end of the bit into the cap tube. You can then mic the butt end or cross reference to chart giving size of numbered drill bits. The length is also very important when sizing, cap tubes must be as close to exact length as possible. Also cap tubes must be scored with 3 corner file and broken off so as not to alter inside diameter.
Or you could use a cap tube chart. Try www.supco.com
Apply Freon type, compressor HP, temp range of unit, number of feeds.

Vt200 wine cooler needs a new capillary tube. Repairman needs to know the diameter and length. The diameter will be some degreenof a 100th of an inch.

Hi

The capilliary can be sized from the outside diameter, the repairman should have a guage to measure it this gives him the internal size from the outside diameter, the length only takes a tape rule, these are normally set to plus or minus 1 inch, so not too critical

Hope this helps

Ac capillary tubes

Sounds like you have a clogged cap tube. Yes they should both be sweating, I would expect your low side pressure to be lower though unless it is real hot in the camper. You can replace the tube but make sure what goes in is the same diameter and length because that is all engineered for proper metering into the evaporator.

2 ton sanyo suction pressure erratic

Your suction pressure is erratic, your max. pressure is to much high. You did not measure your unit current reading liquid line press. to complete the data. But the problem of your unit is not the compressor its the system. Try to reprocess the system flush the unit with nitrogen, isolate the capillary tube and flush it with nitrogen to insure that no restriction.
