The fuel line on my Craftsman trimmer rotted away. How do I fish out the rest out of the tank to replace it?

You may need to take the fuel tank off and fish the old lines out with a pair of needle nose pliers And then check out my Tip on this matter:

Installing fuel lines for, poulan 2150 16''

Find the model of your saw and open the IPL and handle assembly drawing here:
Poulan.com

This is as good as fuel routing gets!!! If this isn't sufficient Find your nearest Poulan repair facility or try your friendly neighborhood chainsaw seller/mechanic. Resubmitting this question won't get any better answer. HTH

Fuel lines

The main fuel line goes to the bottom of the tank. The other, sometimes larger line goes to the primer bulb. This line goes just inside the tank, not more than 1"(inch).

Need diagram for fuel lines on craftsman chainsaw

There is two sizes of line. I see the large one goes to the large port on the primer button and then to the fuel tank. The small one goes from the primer button to the carb. The problem is there are two hose connections on the carb. I believe one is a vent, but I am not sure what one it is. I have a 36cc 2-cycle model 358.352161
