Sounds like a fuel issue. Just enough gas getting there to start it, but not enough to keep it running. Start at thefuel line to the carburetor. Make sure fuel will come out at a sufficient stream. If it doesn't, work backwards towards the fuel tank, looking for clogged fuel lines and such. Clean whatever is suspect. If you get fuel all the way to the carburetor, you'll need to clean the carburetor. Careful disassembly is critical to getting it put back together correctly. Clean your parts with brake cleaner, not carburetor/choke cleaner, paying particular attention to orifices.

WHY IS MY SUZUKI RM125 MOTERCROSS BIKE SPITING AND SPUTERING WHILE TRY TO GAIN SPEED THROUGH THE GEARS

I would check your spark plug to see if fouled, if so clean with wire brush and carburetor cleaner or replace plug. You think it is possible the fuel mix got higher than 40 to 1? If mix is too high it can cause the bike to run lean.Usually if mix is off you will have some blueish grey smoke coming out of exhaust.

Engine bogs down when i press the gas

If the engine bogs on accel it is usually a fuel delivery issue. Does the vehicle run smoothly at idle? Is the check engine light on?

Saw runs great then bogs down 20 sec. after i start cutting i let off it runs good then bogs again when cutting after a few sec

Check your air filter, if clean chances are your carburetor needs to be rebuilt. the carburetor has thin diapragms that get hard and won't meter the fuel in fast enough.

I have a older model # 30 jiffy ice auger and i can not seem to keep it running consistanly. I was wandering what the carburator adjustments are. The low idle screw and the high idle screw where do I start...

Hello Randy. I can talk you through making adjustments to your Jiffy ice auger engine.
1. Read through the whole list before you start adjusting.
2. Close both jets GENTLY
3. Open the Low speed 1/4 turn
4. Open high speed jet 1 1/4 turn
5. Start engine.
6. Adjust low speed until idling smoothly.
7. Open her up wide open.
8. Adjust High speed until engine transitions smoothly from idle to high speed without bogging.
9. Shut engine off. Let it cool.
10. Once engine is cold. Fire it up and let it idle for 30 secs. Open it up wide open again. Adjust if necassary.

NOTE 1: The trick with the Jiffy's is to tune them during cold (ice fishing) weather.
NOTE 2: Low speed screw, the one on the left.
NOTE 3: High speed on the right.

Good luck ice fishing! Regards, Joe

Can your gas tank breathe? Is your fuel filter clogged? Might there be something in the tank that would obstruct the flow of fuel?

Check the tank by loosening the top to allow air to enter.

I happen to own a Go Ped so I can tell you that these little motors are very well made compared to others out there, it sounds like the fuel mixture is off so that when you give it enough gas to drive you it floods and bogs down, but with the motor lifted off the rear wheel it doesnt require as much gas to run so jno problem, I can tell you to try the Go Ped web site which is an excellent source of info on these things, I think they have a troubleshooting section, if you have some mechanical ability there are two adjustment screws for the carbureator it's pretty much a trial an error thing.
