If it shuts OK with a empty chamber check the cartridge overall length spec's for your weapon then measure the rounds you are using
Also inspect the chamber for damage or something causing the
Round to not fully chamber
If it is the bolt look at the locking luggs and where they lock into the chamber
Or go to a competent gunsmith to inspect the bolt and chamber lock up

I have a early model 12 remington pump. 22 short, long and long rifle, the shells load into the barrel fine but are very tight and hard to get out after fired. why is this?

Sounds like it's actually made for 22 shorts, only, and the long and long rifle are extending past the chamber and wedging in the slightly smaller bore beyond the chamber after firing. (the casing expands slightly...)

After firing it will not eject the empty shell

Eject or extract it from the chamber. There are two different systems.

My thompson center rifle firing pin hits primer but only shoots about half the time

strip the bolt and clean it as dirt inside could be causing light strikes some of the time or the casings you use are getting pushed up the chamber by the pin some times

Loading mechinizm does not pick up a bb and load for fireing. Plenty in there; can hear them rattle.

The bolt should be magnetized to catch a bb. Some rifle have to load a magazine upside down to get the bbs lined up on the top with a small thumb switch. Then when you bring the bolt back the mag pickup on the bolt should take a bb from the top and load into the chamber.

Marlin rifle model 795 jams intermittently

It takes about 250 rounds to break in a gun. Try some hotter ammo and see if the problem disappears, if so, call Marlin and ask them for their solution if you want to keep using Federal, you might want to try some Remington standard velocity target, it is very accurate in most guns.
I would shoot it for at least 500 rounds and clean it from powder debris in chamber and receiver bolt and trigger group and try it again, however don't hesitate to get a hold of Marlin, they are nice folks.

Screen.comI have a remington model 476 that has a shell jamed in the chamber. How can i free it

If the shell is discharged you can try using a ramrod to push it down a little bit and get it unstuck. If it hasn't discharged, be very careful. Through a little research I found that there is sometimes a problem getting it to go off, try removing all but the stuck shell (if possible) and smacking it a little harder to see if it just won't fire that one. No matter what, be very careful.

How do you load the ruger m77 rifle

Open the bolt and carefully put in your ammo one on top the other. They should "click in" and hold in the magazine. Be sure to put each shell in as far back toward the bolt as possible to ensure good feeding. If you have a magazine release door on the bottom of your rifle, be sure it is properly closed and locked. Good luck with your Ruger rifle.
