Question about GE Dryers
GE DBVH510EH0WW Electric Dryer. Display buttons will not light. Dry time timer is the only thing that lights up. Dryer functions normally. Just can not determine which setting you are on nor the dry temp setting due to these no longer ilumimating when unit is turned on.

Check your heating element. If one coil of the heating element is burnt out the dryer will heat on the remaining coil, but the timer will not advance in automatic dry.
