Question about Zenith D52WLCD 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
How do you clean the lens there is cow webbs or dust on the color guns
Very difficult to get into this unit. The front bottom metal grill pops off, but it is on very tight and requires some prying to get it off. Then the plastic grill right above it must also be popped off. Once these are both off there are several screws in the bottom of the screen assy. to remove and all of the screws around the back side of the screen assy must be removed. after all of the screws are remove the screen assy can fall right off, so make sure to hold it in place while last screws are removed. Now when removeing the screen assy it is bulky and requires two hanlers. While slowly pullint it forward there are a few plugs that must be disconnected. You now have access to the inside of the screen, the lens, and the mirror for cleaning. This is not an easy job and I reccomend a service professional.
