I can't hear the person on the other end of a phone conversation unless I put it on speaker. They can hear me but I can't hear them.

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Good luck.

I can hear the person on the other end of the phone conversation but they cannot hear me! I am not sure what happened. It worked one day and not the next. It doesn't even sound like there is a speaker on...

In this case check the volume of you're Handheld, If it is low, Increase the volume and check still if it is not working you need to walk into the service center to check the speaker of you're Handheld.

I can hear people on the other end of phone but they do not hear me ? will they be anything in settings causing this, or is phone damaged ?

It is the problem with the mic. Check if you can exchange conversation when you use head set. If you can hear and speak using head set there is nothing to do with the setting. Rate me!!

Random beeping on other end

What type of system is this? Also do you have office recording software which records the conversation. This will beep to allow the person to realize they are being recorded.

Using the record button

This is a phone system phone. If you can record conversations it would be a feature of your voice mail on the system (the phone itself cannot do this). If it all worked, you should have the recording in your voice mail box. It may be in with recorded messages or there could be a separate location. Example: Press 1 to hear your messages, press 2 to hear your recordings, press 3 to change your password, etc...
