Re: Blackberry 7290

You will have to reload the Unit software. If you can let me know what your carrier is, i can provide you with the links and instructions for obtaining the software and installing it.

Once the software has been re-installed, it should boot up fine.

Let me know if you need any additional assistance.

Try uninstalling the Blackberry Software Suite and the Blackberry drivers from your computer from the device manager. Power off the Blackberry, then connect it to the USB cable to see if it begins to charge. Look for the device to show up on Windows. If it does not show up, try booting the Blackberry device back up. If you're still not seeing anything (and especially if the phone isn't even charging), it could possibly be a hardware issue.

Blackberry 7290 device error:373 reset

Hi Anand

Practically speaking i spent 3 hours looking for your solution but nothing much even the BB intelectuals failed .Try these steps out it may resolve the issue and lets hope for the best .

This error : 373 : Device Error means that the Timers are corroupted

1. Remove the battery for at least 5 minute.
2. Make sure u have working SIM card, other wise remove the old SIM.
3.You should receive an Hour glass spinning. Give a few minutes, after that u will see a 507 message on the bb screen, (which means there is no app loaded on the bb)
4.If this dosent work
Use application loader to wipe handheld clean and reinstall base software but do backup your data

And please let me know .

Cannot email with my 7290

Call your network provider to have your blackberry 7290 enable. This is free of charge and will get the IM messaging workings, but if you want to setup email etc, you will need to subscribe for email and a data plan which will cost about 19.99.

Did you ativated the phone through your provider yet? You might want to make sure that the networks you are using on your blackberry are compatible with your provider if it isn't AT&T your using.
