How are you trying to transfer? With a cable from the camera to the laptop? Try putting the SD card directly into the machine, hopefully it has an SD card slot
Alternatively purchase a USB card reader below.

I have a ASUS laptop. It's not opening the internet when I click on the icon. I check the connection and the internet is connected. I tried resetting to manufactory settings but not exactly sure how to do...

Hi,

I don't think you are having a hardware issue. i'm most probably sure that you are either getting a virus problem or a spyware blocking access to internet. First of all, you need to scan your hard disk with a stand alone antivirus scanner. i usually use the trendmicro stand alone or the kaspersky one. since you don't have access on this laptop you need to download it from another laptop and transfer by pendrive. you run the antivirus tool with deep scan to removev all virus. as regards for spy, i suggest the adaware spyremover. again proceed by downloading and transfer to infected pc. it should work. at last, you can check all ip address and resolve conflicts in DNS and gateway. i hope this helps you in fixing the internet issue.

Connected Nikon L11 to Vista laptop. Picture Project software NOT installed. Turned on camera in hope Adobe Bridge could be used to transfer photos to laptop. Nothing happened and suddenly something...

Get a card reader. Use it from now on to transfer your pictures to the computer. Remove the card and battery from the camera...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.

It wont take pictures

Determine how the camcorder works. There are 3 basic modes of capturing stills with a camcorder. Read your instruction manual for specific information.
  • Step 2 Understand freeze-frame stills. The most common and least effective method is a "photo mode." Basically, the camcorder will simply freeze a frame of video for a few seconds, which can then be extracted later as a still.
  • Step 3 Use editing software to capture stills. This method is similar to the first, and can be done with any camcorder. Download an editing program or use the camcorder's bundled software. Then transfer the video over to your computer and use the software to pull out stills.
  • Step 4 Understand built-in digital cameras. This is a more expensive option, but results in higher quality photos. These cameras have built-in memory cards and function basically the same as a stand-alone digital camera. Refer to the manual to switch over to digital camera mode, then point and shoot. The photo quality is usually a bit lower than from a stand-alone camera.
  • Step 5 Compare specifications. Understand that specifications for high quality video don't necessarily translate to high quality stills. CCD determines the quality of video, while megapixels determine the quality of stills.
  • Step 6 Consider the value. Whether or not a combination digital camera and camcorder is best for you depends on how you'll be sharing your photos

I can't transfer my photos. Transfer doesn't come

Make sure camera is off. After you plug your camera into your computer turn camera on. This should open the program for you. If not, right click on START button, go to EXPLORE, find your camera in the list. right click on camera, go to OPEN WITH. Select the program you want to use and VIOLA, you're in.

Hope this info was helpful to you. Good Luck!

Can I view photos on my iPod photo/"Color"? nano?

Depending on the model, to view photos on your iPod photo/"Color", you either need to import photographs using Apple's iPod Camera Connector, or transfer images from your computer through iTunes 4.7 or higher to the iPod. For the current iPod U2 Special Edition "Color", iPod "Color" (20.0 GB), the version of the iPod photo (60 GB) introduced on February 23, 2005 and renamed iPod "Color" (60 GB) on June 28, 2005, as well as the discontinued iPod photo (30 GB), the simplest way to transfer photos from many digital cameras to your iPod is to purchase and use Apple's iPod Camera Connector (US$29). This device simply allows you to directly connect a digital camera to the camera connector and in turn connect the camera connector to the iPod "dock" port. Photos imported using the iPod Camera Connector are immediately viewable, with the exception of RAW format images and video clips. However, photos imported using the iPod Camera Connector cannot be immediately viewed as a slideshow with transitions. On versions of the iPod photo (40 GB, 60 GB) released prior to February 23, 2005, photos transferred directly from a digital camera using an iPod-compatible media reader are not immediately viewable, but photos transferred through iTunes 4.7 or higher, which converts photos into a "thumbnail" format, can be viewed on the iPod photo itself or displayed using the iPod photo connected to a TV or projector. The iPod nano, introduced September 7, 2005, can display photographs on the internal display "loaded" from a computer, but as it lacks video out, it cannot display photographs on a television or projector. The iPod nano also does not support the iPod Camera Connector or third-party solutions, so photos cannot be transferred from a camera. For information regarding the iPod nano and accessory compatibility, please refer to Apple Support
