SOURCE: loses pressure

The unloader valve in the water pump is stuck. The grease wears away after time. You need to remove it, apply grease to the upper o-ring and reinstall it. Use pump guard in the future to prevent this problem.

The first thing i would do is be sure there is not a partial blockage in the nozzle.

SOURCE: no pressure out of wand have water flow old style

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
From your description of the problem:
"motor runs good sounds like it should be full pressure" This sounds like the wand nozzle is clogged behind the nozzle. Remove the nozzle and check for debris behind the nozzle face. All it takes is for a tiny piece of particulate to block the nozzle orifice. (Dig out what ever you find behind the orifice. After you check and re-test the nozzle if you still have the problem there is a lot more that can be done to troubleshoot. I just think you have a clogged nozzle at this time. If the nozzle was not clogged... respond here and I will pass on more information. I think we can easily correct this problem.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

I have a Honda GC160 motor on a powerwasher. The engine stalls when I release the power wand handle, but if i keep the handle squeezed, it works but the engine sounds like it is laboring.

replace the unloader of your pump....find the model of the PUMP ...not the washer itself...the pump and find a parts list and then purchase and replace the unloader. That will fix your problem. Good luck

Water pressure not that good , sometimes have to shut washer off then crank back on and sometimes its OK

It sounds like you are getting air into your pressure hose. Try just turning your faucet on and squeezing your wand handle for a few minutes before you crank your pressure washer up. This should bleed the air from your hose.

I cannot pressurize the sprayer. I have the solution in the sprayer. Handle is screwed on. No spray comes out

When you pump the handle is there resistance? If there is, pressure is building up in the sprayer.
If there is no resistance, the sprayer pump is probably deteriorated and should be replaced.
If there is pressure and when you squeeze the trigger nothing comes out, remove the nozzle and make sure there is nothing plugging it.
Good Luck,

I cannot get the handle off for extended vacuuming

right under where the electrical power cord winds on to the handle; well just under that if you grab the round part of the handle whereit goed down in to the machine , just squeez right there and that is the release for the extendable wand assembly. Squeeze and pull up and away from the body of the unit. I hope you can understand tis . Just squeeze right where I explained and you will find it . Good luck and dont forget to hit the yes button if this helps you. thanks again

My DC05 Dyson suction has stopped...there are no blockages, the seals are good, there seems to be more suction coming from a yellow box which is situated at the top of the removable cannister. There is...

My Dyson had exactly the same problem. I found the problem was caused by a blockage in the hose. Take the hose out where it joins the cleaner (it will come out if you pull it downwards gently) and take the hose out of the handle by squeezing the yellow buttons on either side. I pushed a rubber alkathene pipe down and found a piece of plastic was blocking it even though at first I was sure it wasn't blocked.

Got a karcher 410 water pressure passed down to me without directions need help working it

Fairly simple to opperate. Connect water supply hose. Connect wand hose. Plug in, turn on water supply and turn on. Then squeeze the wand handle to spray. With mine, there are times when the unit looses pressure, but if you leave it running, it seems to recover. Also note that you can turn the flare at the end of the wand for a soft stream versus pressure spray. I have had mixed results with the pull out clear tube that is supposed to siphon liquid soap into the mix.
