Please see the answer I posted for Joana Ball:

With this model because clock is the SECOND item listed, I suggest to press that button twice, wait for the clock to come up 00:00 and set it using the same button (preset option).
Unfortunately I don't know this for certain as I am only using an educated deduction on other brands of microwaves with similar front panels.

I really hope this helps, please let me know if it works as I will be contacting Dunelm to ask for a pdf manual.

SOURCE: whirlpool MH2155XPS - numbers on the clock display

Normally it's bad connections or "ring cracks" on the connections on the circuit board.

This assumes the display glass is not broken, which would necessitate a new control board.

(Note that a dark spot on the display glass is normal)

And it assumes that the unit was not hit with a surge, or needs other repairs, which we do nationwide for $39.95 in most cases.

Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number with suffix 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 from the tag on the unit) for more information & help.

SOURCE: micro wave works but light burn out how doI change

If there's no obvious removable cover over the bulb (most often on the rear or side) and the owner's manual doesn't address it, then disassembly will be required.

You'll need to remove the outer cover (wrapper) to get to the bulb.

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

If it's an over the range type, remove the vent grille across the top and see if bulbs can be accessed there. There may be a panel on the bottom covering the light(s), instead.

If not, chances are you'll have to remove it from the wall, then remove the outer cover. If so, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

Once it's out of the wall, the outer cover (wrapper) will need to be removed, just as you'll need to do on a counter top model.

On a counter top model, be sure it's unplugged, but otherwise ignore the instructions above this paragraph.

You'll need to remove the outer cover (wrapper) to get to the bulb.

See these links before proceeding:
http://www.microwavedisplay.com/safety.txt
http://www.microwavedisplay.com/disassembly.txt

The screws you need to remove should be pretty obvious, but a special driver (such as a T20H type or GTXH20-100) may be needed.

Be sure to put all the screws back in the right holes, since some may be special grounding screws.

Bulbs (and 20A ceramic fuses) can be had locally in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Many models use halogen lamps. You must not touch halogen types with your bare skin, as the oils will shorten the bulb life.

SOURCE: I cannot set the clock on my LG MS1949G Micro wave

After spending 25 minutes on hold while LG try to find out how their own product sets the clock, I now know that the LG MS1949G Microwave open does NOT have the ability to set a clock that shows the time of day.

SOURCE: Blew an egg up in

Please post your complete model number so I may better assist you. I have posted a procedure on how to fine this information below.
But first just a warning on Microwaves....
THEY HOLD A POTENTIAL FATAL CHARGE EVEN WHEN THE POWER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED!
MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO CALL A TECHNICIAN TO SERVICE THIS APPLIANCE.

Whenever any electrical device trips a breaker usually this is a indication of either a ground short...a wire that may have been burnt...or power being over the capacity of what the breaker is capable of handling. I.E. your breaker is allowing 10 amps of power to your outlet but the appliance is sending 11 amps....thus tripping the breaker. The breaker acts as a safety for your home against fire.

Your microwave has a transformer in it. It increases this power internally to generate enough power for the magnetron to distribute a very high voltage to produce heat to your microwave. My guess is something has shorted and or the magnetron or transformer has shorted internally. Really not worth repairing.

My two suggestions to you would be to call a service tech to repair or simply replace the unit. A tech will charge you a minimum of $125.00 plus parts a nice new unit can be purchased for under $200.00

If you would like to pursue this repair you will need to know how to use a volt meter and be able to read a wiring schematic.

Please post your decision...

Best regards...

Keith

How do i set clock on Dunelm cream microwave mod no52753

So just to make sure that it wasnt an easy fix, I went to the Dunelm site to see if they had a manual. No such luck.

I did however see that on the front of this microwave (the cream one), there are 6 buttons near the top. One of them is the Preset/clock button.

What I have known with most (not all) is that with the clock feature, you press the clock, set it and press clock once more.
HOWEVER
With this model because clock is the SECOND item listed, I suggest to press that button twice, wait for the clock to come up 00:00 and set it using the same button (preset option).
Unfortunately I don't know this for certain as I am only using an educated deduction on other brands of microwaves with similar front panels.

I really hope this helps, please let me know if it works as I will be contacting Dunelm to ask for a pdf manual.

Try2910227 serial ywmh2205xvb-0 model arcing on the back corner were the rack sits.Is there a way to repair this seen is the unit was purchaced in June of 2011.

Yes, take the rack out and recycle it. I do not know why these micro-wave company put racks in the micro wave ovens. You get some insulation on the inside the micro flaking off next the rack.

The mega-tron tube is a very high energy transmitter. The energy will come out of the top inside the micro wave oven in a wave guide. Micro wave energy that generation by the tube is high frequency into Gega Hertz. You have a metal tray in side the micro wave acts like a big capacitor it stores energy in form of heat the next you know it look like Marconi is putting on a lighting display.

Leave the wire tie on a loft of bread and put in you micro wave oven to defrost. The next thing you might see is a load bread burning, instant toast. ----The use of micro wave were invented by the British before WWII. The mega tron tube generation very high frequency radio wave and these wave struck an object 100 miles away some of this beam energy would balance back to a receiver-----You have Radar.... I wish you and your family well being and be careful of micro wave ovens it can burn from inside out. GB you...stewbison

Model JVM1650WH02 will shut off about 2 seconds or less into cook time. everything else works such as light and clock and sometimes the wave will cook.

magnetron is leaking internally, do not use until magnetron is replaced. the mag creates interference with the control board and resets it
