Also make sure that all the connectors are in all the way, until the little clip is secure. Also make sure all the connections are make. When I did mine, I have two separate connectors to the motherboard and two separate connectors to the video board. There sometimes is a light on the motherboard to let you know that it is getting power.

Good luck.

If you have made sure that the new power supply is turned on and the pc is turned on, if nothing happens then the motherboard has died. To make absolutely sure, connect a known working supply since even a new one can be defective to make sure. Good luck.

Might sound silly, but have you turnd on the power switch for the pc if it has one,and the one on your power supply,
if you have check the fuse in the power supply,or check the fuse in your main power lead.

Check and replace its main power supply regulator board. If the set is in warranty period, contact the service center.

Interior light not turning on. Temperature not showing up either. Brand new out of the box. Plugged in and it lit up, then turned off. Now won't turn on (light won't turn on) Unit turns on and

Sounds like a poor connection in the control or a faulty control module, I would return it as faulty for a new one. They seal those units up pretty good so we can't fiddle with them. Everyone gets a lemon sometimes.

Help new power supply will not power up.

if you had a surge, it could have damaged more than just the power supply. When you plug in the unit, does the power indicator light up??? your main board could also have damage. The main board sends a signal to wake up the power supply thus turning on the TV. If you have to replace the main board as well, it probably won' t be economical to repair the set.

My PC power supply crashed, burnt resistors, Powerman IW-P250A3-1 20 pin plug to motherboard, bought new power source, but the old power source had a white cable to the 20 pin plug which was -5vdc 0.3amp....

Hello,
For your system to boot up properly, you need an identical power supply for your system. Most likely the reason why your system won't boot up right now is because you purchased a different power supply and it is lacking something(which is the other pin).

PC won't turn on, small green light flashes on back of PC. 2 recent power outages in neighborhood.

Hate to say it, but it's likely your power supply. For years now, HP/Compaq, and Gateway/eMachines/Acer have all been putting 'Bestec'-brand power supplies in their brand-new desktops. I tired of replacing them because a) Brand-new computer owners strayed away from me if I warned them about it prior to 'the inevitable', and b) Often, power surges on these Bestec power supplies would also 'take out' the motherboard, and sometimes even hard drive (and data!). After years of seeing this, I reported this incredible catastrophic known-fail rate to a law firm in NY who is supposedly going after the manufacturers for this problem (or ignoring the problem). Power supplies can be bought for under $100, and any technician who is honest and affordable (and can also afford gas!) should be able to install one for under $50 (I do it for $30, for comparison). Those guys ARE out there--so search one out, and hopefully you'll be up and running in a few nanocycles (sorry, redundant error on my behalf--I'm a nerd, okay?).

Have a samsung 32in flatscreen that i unpluged and when i pluged it back in it will not come on

hi just unplug again don't use for an hour to discharge excessive voltage store at the power supply usually at the primary capacitor and also to reset the processor which turn on/off the circuit.while you are waiting to discharge the voltage check the power outlet try to plug other equipment just to let you know if the power source is good. now if it is present try to plug and turn on the unit observe if it is working.if still won't power on you will need to open the back cover keep the screw not to loose check first blown fuse at the power supply if no light indicator at the front panel when you turn on the unit it was power supply failure because no stand by supply. check bulged capacitor replace with branded parts use with high temperature rating capacity 105c.check also other obvious defective part. you can order parts at parts.digikey.com. hope it will help you thanks for choosing the fixya good luck.

E system 1212 Laptop won't switch on. Power

Laptops are so integrated that usually a system failure that involves power issues such as in your case where you cant get it turn on with anything on the screen mean the mainboard (motherboard) is damaged. This usually leads to buying a new laptop or paying for the board to be replaced which usually costs as much as the laptop.

Console light stays green all the time.

Your system's power supply cord could be faulty.
it could be receiving too much current and its making your power supply think the system needs to stay on. try plugging your console into a different outlet or surge protector. if that doesnt work you will most likely have to get a new power supply cable.
