I managed to fix my parents one by removing the memory card and blowing on the contacts then re-inserting the card I guess somehow the card must have dislodged and the map files could not be loaded this should work for you as the system needs the maps files in order to operate the navagation mode...

I shut the power button off and now it wont turn back on, what could be the p[roblem?

Is the power button stuck in? if so try to flick it out.

Also if button is ok, have you tried to power it up with the charger lead plugged in and power on. If this works it could be a sign the internal battery has had its days. Replacement required.

Another thing is, is there a reset button on the back/bottom as it may have crashed and need the software to be reset.

I hope you have not done what my sister did which was used the wrong charger cable and blown it up inside.

I am getting Power (fuses ok) to my Radio and Navigation on my 2006 Sienna but the power button will not work so no sound or Navigation screen? What could be wrong? Thanks

Check to make sure all fuse associate to the radio/navigation is good, sometime like the acc socket fuse being blown could cause the thing to not work also, so make sure you get to all the fuse to make sure they are not blown. After that, there maybe a fuse located with the navigation unit behind the radio/navigation unit that may be blown. If there isn't or is still good, check all connection to it. If all is good then your unit could be history and you may need to take it to a dealship to actaully see what is going on.

Check the navigation setup and make sure the voice guidance is set to on. If it is, then the installer didn't catch the right wire for vss. Had the same problem, after getting my unit professionally installed, figured it was a problem with unit so I upgraded to the G510 and installed the DV4100 in my other vehicle myself, caught the right vss wire and now the unit works perfectly, displays turn by turn and gives voice guidance. Read previous solutions, they really help.
