This cleaner has been discontinued by the manufacture. Parts may or may not still be available, if you are in need of them. By the way you worded your sentence, I am presuming that the unit is moving around in the pool, but not picking up any debris. This means that there is no suction being created at the bottom input port.
this is most likely to dirty internal filters, and I believe these use filter bags. Disassemble the filter area, and remove the bags. Clean them very well. And try again.

SOURCE: I have a robo-kleen pool cleaner which stops

If debris is entering the bag, it may be as simple as that. The bag is clogged. We typically recommend hand cleaning a pool before using an auto cleaner specifically for that problem. You might have to remove and clean the bag 50-75 times. Much easier to hand vac first. If no debris is getting into the bag before it stops, it could be a problem with the motor. we have seen them "short cycle" and require replacement. Rob

These automatic pool cleaners can be used in inground pools, but only if they are flat bottom. They cannot be used on split level pools with deep ends.

One thing that you might want to try on these pool cleaners is removing the limit screw on the axle for greater angle of tandem wheels. Make sure your filter bag is not clogged or partially clogged because this cause restrict movement. Check for debris jammed in your drive system (wheels, axles, etc.)

SOURCE: I have a Robo Kleen

You should be able to purchase pumps for these automatic pool cleaners from a pool supply company, but I would take it to a professional first. It could be something that is easily fixed without purchasing an expensive part.

Make sure that your impeller is not clogged. Occasionally hair or linen may get caught in the impeller. Take the top grill off by removing the 2 screws from the top, with the transformer unplugged. Remove the debris and replace the grill. You will also want to check for obstructions in the axle of the drive shaft. Sometimes even small debris can cause the wheels not to turn. You might also want to remove the limit screw for greater wheel movement. These are all pretty common problems with these pool cleaners. Unfortunately, it could also be a problem with the gear box. If this is the case, you will need to have it services professionally.

Robo kleen moves back and forth in one area

First, I would make sure that you don't have any debris in your wheel axle or impeller. Both could restrict movement. You can also try removing the limit screw on the wheels to see if that helps. Most likely, your problem is going to be with the interval timing software in the pool cleaners computer system. If this is the case, you are going to have to have it services and repaired professionally.

My robo kleen pool cleaner motor and pump run but the unit will not roll

You might need to perform some maintenance on the automatic pool cleaner wheels and drive system. Remove debris or tree leaves caught in the axle bearing. Do not turn the drive wheels by force. This may cause damage to the drive gear train.

It sounds like your gear box has gone out. If that is the case, the pool cleaners not going to work until you replace the gear box. Unfortunately, this is something that only a professional can do. Just to make sure that this is the problem, you should first check the wheels for any debris or damage. Then make sure that you don't have any clogs or jammed/cracked hoses.
