Need face plate for CD player in 94 mustang am/FM cassette the CD player is separate and is a CD player only completely separate from receiver what model is the CD player

Try ebay under "motors" category and click on parts. I have found all kind of things I needed there.

Your CD may not be music CD. Some car radio doesn't accept MP3 or WMV files. Change it to a good radio such as JVC car radio.

I would say you should consider trashing the cassette because no one rocks that anymore and go get a cd player from walmart for $70 or so..... sorry if seems rude but cassettes are out dated and a new cassette player is only like $50 at walmart

Hi there,

Well there's lots of possible reasons. The FM receiver portion of the radio is separate from the AM Band receiver, pre-amp, and amplifier sections of the radio. The FM receiver may have simply failed, as well as the CD player portion of the radio. Your car FM needs repair, you need a multimeter to check it or take it to a repair person. How do i return to my radio from my cassette? The eject button is broken.


Open it, try manual eject, if not look for the switch that monitor between cassette and radio mode, you can do manual connection or switch it manually.get it?

Buy a new radio, you'll never find just the faceplate... trust me on this one it's not worth the headache.
