Nelsonic NLC 618 AM/FM Clock Radio- directions tell me how to set the time, how to set the alarm, how to dim the LED display, how to set the alarm to wake up to a radio or beep alarm, how to set the radio stations, but it doesn't tell me how to turn off the alarm so it doesnt go off on a day I dont want to get up early! Anyone know how to shut off the alarm so it doesn't go off on Saturday & Sunday? Thanks! Kaye Kay

SOURCE: Alternating time and radio setting

When the display was doing this to me tonight (I just got the thing, so fat lot I know, huh? I try), I pushed the "OFF" button 2 or 3 times. The OFF button is on the top of the clock, next to all of the alarm buttons. It quit alternating for me.

I have a Nelsonic Clock Radio, model nlc 608 a. How do I use the radio? Thank you!

To use the radio function on your Nelsonic Clock Radio model NLC 608A, please follow these steps:
  1. Make sure the clock radio is plugged into an electrical outlet and turned on.
  2. Press the "Radio" button to turn on the radio function. The display should show the current radio frequency.
  3. Use the "Tune +" and "Tune -" buttons to tune to the desired radio station. You can also hold down these buttons to automatically scan through the available stations.
  4. Adjust the volume using the "Volume +" and "Volume -" buttons.
  5. To switch between AM and FM radio, press the "Band" button.
  6. If you want to save a radio station as a preset, tune to the desired station and then press and hold one of the numbered preset buttons (1-10) until you hear a beep. You can then access the saved station by pressing the corresponding preset button.
  7. To turn off the radio, press the "Radio" button again or simply turn off the clock radio.
I hope this helps!

How to set presets on nelsonic clock radio nlc 618

To set this alarm first ensure that when you press the Mode button several times the FM/AM radio does not turn on . If the FM or AM radio does turn on or the lcd displays "AU" press the Power button that is next to the Mode button 1 time (pressing the Power button toggles you between 2 settings). You should now be able to press the Mode button at least 3 times without the FM/AM Radio turning on.

Next you press and hold the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button and (while continuing to hold down one of the Alarm buttons) press the Hour or Min buttons to set the time of whichever alarm button you are holding down.

When you have the alarm time set you can release the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button and press the same button (do not hold the button down this time) to cycle between the types of alarms you can use. You will see the blue circle indicator move between Buzz and Radio when pressing the buttons (Blue circle on left side is for Alarm 1 and blue circle on right side is for Alarm 2). There is a third option as well but I'm not sure what the alarms will do if you set them to it because the blue circle indicator disappears entirely after cycling to Buzz and then Radio.

Hope that helps!
